Recently ate at Mick’s, and very pleasantly surprised. The breakfast fare is solid, if unspectacular, but you get very good bang for the buck. The standout item is the corned beef hash, which not of the Dinty-Moore-from-a-can variety, but real honest-to-goodness corned beef shredded; I’ve never had better. There was only one waitress covering both rooms, with at least two dozen customers in the place, and she was fantastic – the food came hot and in reasonable time, she was back filling the coffee when needed, and attentive without being over your shoulder all the time. I’ve never seen it done better.

Great small town diner with good food and friendly service. Small but delicious and fresh salad bar as well as good country cooking, sandwiches, and desserts. A great stop when traveling through. The wait staff is very friendly and helpful.
