This little café is so delicious and has a super friendly environment. The boyfriend got the French dip, which was AMAZING and I got the hurricane ridge wrap! I was hoping they would have had an option for whole wheat rather than a flour tortilla but that’s ok. It was delicious. I most definitely will be coming back. I wish I knew about this place sooner!

Perfect place for me to meet clients. I am a Broker and not only am I always looking for new homes and land, but I am also looking for a great cup of coffee by day and wine by evening(said with a smile). I found all that in one with Common Grounds! Nice quiet environment great dinner food, and to go foods!

First time here. Tried the pot roast ciabatta, my wife had The perfect combination dog. We took ours to go. Very tasty. We will stop in again to try out the coffee. We had Italian sodas, these were average. The house is very colorful. Looks like plenty of choices on the menu. Since we live a walking distance away, we will definitely be trying more goodies. Definite worth the visit.

My new favorite spot! I can’t wait to eat here again. I had dinner here last night with a group of 8 and everything was on point. The food was amazing. We had fantastic service from Jenn who was very attentive to our party even though she had a number of other tables. Great beer and wine selection and the best crab bisque I’ve had in a really long time. Locally owned and operated.

Incredibly unique in every way! The staff, the service, and the food all exceeded any of my expectations. It’s obvious there was much thought and creativity at work when Common Grounds was being designed. It’s warm, fun, and very inviting.

We stopped in here after a chamber orchestra performance. Our party of four got seated quickly by a very cheerful waitress. We ordered various coffee and tea drinks and ordered two plates to share. The Mediterranean quesadillas were a great mixture of tastes and textures. We all loved them. The bacon wrapped stuffed mushrooms were amazing. The larger plate feed the four of us and then some. These truly are worth coming back for on their own! Prices were really reasonable and the staffer friendly and quick.

First time in today and I’m in love with the atmosphere! It’s so cute and the chalk tables were a great way to pass the time playing tic tac toe while we waited for our food kept is laughing. I had the tomato lovers flat bread it was a nice change from typical tomato basil dishes and my boyfriend had the French dip. Very tasty. I can’t wait to have lunch here on the outdoor seating in summer !

Great service, great food, and great atmosphere with any kind of seating you’re looking for. We stopped here on a rainy day when our cabin for an out of town getaway didn’t have a living room. Everyone made us feel at home as we stopped by for warm drinks, wifi, and lunch. I built my own sandwich with chicken, bacon, cheese, spinach, and sprouts with honey mustard and my husband had the bacon wrapped mushrooms. Everything was delicious! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone any time of the day!

This is NOT just a coffee shop, but serves up great food all day. They have delicious sandwiches, wine and beer, and great service. They also have desserts, but we never have room for them. We really enjoy the outdoor seating and cute courtyard. It’s become my favorite place for lunch!!!

Only chose one star because you have to choose something. This is the only café that charges for their mistakes. I asked for a soy chair latte. They made me a chai with milk. Then told me I had to pay for another drink if I didn’t want that one??? I wanted a gluten free hot dog and they gave me a hot dog on a slice of bread instead of a bun which are available to grocery stores. Wow, customer service is non-existent. Really disappointing.

I watched, over the summer, as the renovation of this space evolved. The OPEN sign appeared. . however, I wasn’t sure what type of business had opened on E. 8th Street! The wine and cheese sign in the window piqued my curiousity and I figured it was a specialty shop. Thankfully, not long after, I was tickled pink to see signage pop up in front of the bright orange(with peacock blue trim!) little house announcing that it was a coffee shop/café! ( ) I dropped by Common Grounds Café for lunch last week and was greeted with a welcoming smile. I found a comfortable spot in the«back room»(which doubles as an after-school study room — students get a 10% discount. . how great is that!!) and settled in to have a light lunch, a cup of coffee and enjoy some quality reading time. The menu items looked scrumptious but, unfortunately(for the foodie side of me that eyed the pastries, behind the glass, with heartfelt longing) I’m not quite a year out from Roux-en-Y Gastric Bypass(weight loss) surgery and my(dining out) food choices are limited. My waitress was very attentive and — when I asked about a specific salad dressing — she went to the kitchen to speak with the Chef. The balsamic dressing I’d inquired about wasn’t on the menu but, shortly thereafter, the Chef appeared with a bowl of raspberry vinagrette — asking if it would work for me — perfect! I ordered a half salad(not on the menu but they were most happy to accommodate my dietary needs) and a cup of coffee. I found the staff to be attentive and I sincerely appreciated that they were willing to work with me around food choices. On my way out, I stopped and chatted with several other customers. . they were — one and all — happy with their meals, very pleased with the attentive(though not overly so) service and they appeared very comfortable with the unique décor/design/ambience! As for me, I am a senior who lives on a limited income — the food is fresh, nicely prepared/presented and the coffee is good — the prices are fair and I loved the ambience/décor! I will definitely return. . soon! Jo Dunn Port Angeles, WA

A nice little coffee shop In uptown Port Angeles. The shop is in a converted house and there is lots of room to sit or a a privet meeting. The espresso quality is marginal and some of the employees seem very green. Dillanos is the coffee used.
