We enjoyed selecting from their diverse menu and eating our tasty large-portion dishes served promptly with a smile. This may be our only visit however, after my husband and I stopped at their restrooms on the way out. They appear to be regularly cleaned, just not very well(as indicated by the amount of gunk around the water faucets.) It just put a damper on our otherwise nice meal.

Great find! Some of the best Chinese food I’ve had. Servings are incredible. I got the kung pao chicken. It came with soup and rice. The food came out in less then 5 minutes. The waitress was very nice. I will have a huge lunch for tomorrow. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

The food is not authentic Chinese, but they tasted pretty good. The place is spacious and clean. The service was good. Next time I stop by Port Angeles, I will try again.

Visiting the area for the mountain, but stopped for some food. A little worried to try Chinese food out here, but reviews gave me hope. Very happy I stopped in for dinner. Most of the food at mediocre Chinese food restaurants tastes pretty much the same, but this restaurant wasn’t that way one bit. We had the individual combination dinners #4&5. Loved them! Surprised I was able to eat that large of a portion but it was too tasty not to. Try it once, I think you’ll find yourself coming back

This is part one of what will hopefully be a two part review. I made my order at 4:48pm and it’s now currently 6:02. I specifically asked for a time and was told«about an hour» the second star in my review is me being optimistic. The order was over $ 50, pretty pricey for two people… Hopefully they get here soon with amazing food… Update: The food arrived 10 minutes after I posted this, and called them. The portions were larger than anticipated and the pork fried rice was good. The broccoli beef was more broccoli than beef. I may go there but I won’t call for delivery again. Three stars for portion size.

Portions are large. I called in an order for delivery, and tried to correct the person taking my order about my address a couple of times. I then waited an hour and 15 minutes before calling to check on my order only to be told it was just leaving– I had not previously been told that there would be any sort of extended wait time. Eventually the driver called to tell me that they’d given him the wrong address. The food that finally arrived was bland.

They never answer their phone at night. This is the third time I’ve tried calling them and no one picks up.

The food is all right, but the place is very dirty. We ordered lunch specials and it was a lot of food. So, it was cheap food and nothing special…

The menu had some unique things, such as the garlic wings and cinnamon doughnuts. The prices are a bit high like most places around but you get large portions.

Ate there Friday night and food was great. I had the volcano rice and a cold beer. Service is definitely 5 star. The staff are real and refreshing.

This Chinese restaurant was right around the corner from our hotel. Followed the Unilocal recommendation and got a very tasty dinner. Very friendly waiter. The soups are hot and rich in flavor. We had the hot garlic pork and lemongrass chicken. So delicious, spicy, lots of vegetables, too. Overall we can absolutely recommend to eat here!

This place is very good! Chinese food in Port Angeles seemed like a risky proposition, but the food here is fresh and tasty with lots of vegetarian options. The waitress was very courteous, and the service was very quick. My favorites were the dry string beans and the sesame tofu.

Clean. Good service. A ton of menu items. The crispy sesame tofu was great and the kung pao prawns were tasty but average. Nice surprise in Port Angeles. Seemed family friendly.

I live in Seattle, where choices for Chinese food are obviously very plentiful, and I’m a pretty tough critic of Asian food. With that said, I would highly recommend Fresh Wok. The food is delicious, the prices are very reasonable, the service was fantastic, and the portions are huge. Will definitely go back if I find myself in Port Angeles.

Great find! We have been to this restaurant several times for lunch and have ordered from the lunch menu, ordering at different visits the Crunchy Sesame Chicken, Green Bean Chicken, Veggie Chicken, Veggie Shrimp, and Chicken Chow Mein. In every case, the meal is delicious, portions are generous, price is reasonable, and service is fast and friendly. Each meal comes with choice of soup, choice of steamed or fried rice, and choice of wonton or egg roll on the side. Hot tea is always included at no extra charge. We’ve never encountered huge crowds here, but we believe this restaurant to be the best Chinese restaurant in the area. This is our go-to favorite for whenever we eat out or have out-of-town guests. Great food and great value.

Considering if you want Chinese food out here in the Peninsula your choices seem rather limited, at least to me. I don’t know what it is, but trying to find good, decent Chinese takeout is a hard thing to come by. and Fresh Wok actually fits the bill! I’ve never actually eaten inside the restaurant so this review is solely based on their delivery. I was visiting my dear friend in town and she raved and raved about Fresh Wok! She said you have to try them; they are actually GOOD! I said alright. and we preceded to look over their menu. We ended up ordering #15(honey walnut chicken) and #16(honey walnut prawns, pretty much the same thing except the meat). Service and delivery was prompt and we were able to enjoy our food in less than 30 minutes. The food was actually delicious! I’ve tried Chinese food at other places around the Peninsula and have been let down and disappointed with the exception of SoHo Asian Bistro(another gem in town). Both the Honey Walnut Chicken and Prawns were delicious. The chicken was actual sizable amount of chicken pieces and not all batter; same goes for the prawns. They were big, juicy and tender! The sauce just had the right amount of sweetness! I really love and appreciate that they deliver because my friend has limited mobility and Freak Wok is one of the places we/she can order from and not have to worry about picking up food and focus on just enjoying our company together! I’m looking forward to seeing her again and ordering from Freak Wok again as this is our tradition now every time I come into town!

I wouldn’t expect Port Angeles, of all places, to have a really good Chinese restaurant — but Fresh Wok definitely qualifies. The food is very tasty and the prices are good. This is one of the best chinese restaurants that I’ve ever been to here in the pacific northwest, including places in Seattle, Victoria and Vancouver. The only strike against this place is that they have really screwed up wheelchair access from the parking lot into the restaurant. The curb cut into the concrete is squat in the center of a parking spot directly across from the entrance to the restaurant. If anyone parks in that spot, the ramp is blocked. There’s no attempt to block off this area so that it can be used by those who need it. It’s not going to affect many people but it’s an odd quirk of this place. Of all the communities in Washington I’d think that a restaurant in Port Angeles /Sequim might be more aware of this sort of thing, but apparently not…
