You’re right. That was unfair of me to complain about the price. However Fresh and Local shouldn’t mean higher prices. As a society this has to change if we want to be healthy. Processed food that travels hundreds to thousands of miles shouldn’t be cheaper then fresh and local. I’ve went back a few times to taco time and enjoyed what we ordered.

This place is so dirty and gross. A few of the booth seats had huge holes and all had nasty stains. The legs of the chairs were dirty and nasty and the sides of the booth benches were too. The ceilings were water stained and disgusting. On top of the sick décor the angry butch looking supervisor lady was extremely rude to the poor guy working the counter and had awful customer service skills herself. She didn’t greet us when we came in and just yelled at the poor guy mopping to do it. My refried beans were cold and my veggies not fresh. I will never go back.

After having the most amazing fast food experience of my life at a Taco Time in Missoula, MT, I was ready for another fantastic meal so we pulled in to this location before heading to Olympic National Park. Immediately I knew this location was different. Where was the salsa bar? The 4 for $ 5 menu? Many of the items even had different names. After we ordered I asked if the sauces listed on the side cost extra. The gal working replied«depends on who’s working.» They didn’t even offer my favorite sauces(smokey thousand island!) so I decided not to bother with wrangling more sauce and stuck with the«hot sauce» that was offered for free. We did ask why the restaurant was so different and our cashier told us that this and four other nearby locations had the same owner who did things differently than the rest of the chain(read: STINGY). The baja taco was pretty good but my bean burrito was cold in the middle. I know it’s fast food but the Missoula TT set such a high precedent that I was pretty bummed. Okay, 90% of my disappointment was in the lack of a salsa bar. I am a Taco Time fan for life, but I will turn a blind eye to the restaurants in this neck of the woods to perpetuate my belief that they are the best fast food chain ever.

After seeing their commercials on tv; we finally gave them a try. Overpriced wannabe Mexican food. Service was slow, not really much else to say.

I’ve never heard of or seen a taco time down south, and it certainly won’t be something I crave. Is there really anything more to say? It’s fast food, it’s average tasting. I actually thought my taco was pretty good. If you’re in need of some fast food, hop on over here. If not, there’s no reason to come! The workers are quite… colorful. But I guess that’s what you’d expect from a coastal washington town.

We don’t have Taco Time in the SF area that I know of… Thank goodness! After seeing so many of them all over the northwest, we decided we needed to try one. Nothing special. At least Taco Bell has cheap, fill-you-up items. We had the fish taco and a regular soft taco. The meat in the soft taco was reportedly better then Taco Bell, but I wasn’t even interested in trying it. I got three packs of jalapenos just in case, but they turned out to have almost no heat or flavor. Bland jalapenos? Is that even possible? Maybe if the marketing people buy them? «we need bland peppers so that little old ladies can say they liked them»??? The workers where, well, interesting, but it’s fast food, so what do you expect?

Usually they are pretty good and things are freshly made. The last couple of times we got nachos though, they were stale. This place is expensive too for a drive-thru restaurant. Ok inside, typical fast food restaurant atmosphere… but it was clean and kid friendly.
