looks old and outdated but fish and chips were better than any«expensive» restaurant

OK so the décor hasn’t been updated in awhile, but man you should try the food! Wow is it good. And the service is very friendly. Excellent food, friendly staff, good prices, wonderful little restaurant!

We always get great food and service. This is a local restaurant, American food, vegetarian options. The menu has lots of options. We stop here at least once a week.

Everything was wonderful! Fish and chips were perfect. Chicken fried steak had very nice cubed steak with good batter. Excellent onion rings.

We had clam chowder, pan fried oysters, and fish and chips. It was great. The restaurant itself is a bit dated but overall the service was good as was the food.

Stoped in for a beer the other day, got some jalapeño poppers and a few heinekens, the tenders were friendly and replaced beer bottles before they were quite empty. that’s the way it should be done. looking forward to eating a meal there. thanks for the service!

This place was decent. The food was ok(not terrible, but nothing special), the service was good and the price was right. We enjoyed ourselves here.

We eat here when we come up this way, and we always enjoy our meals. They have great fish and chips abd make a mean bloody mary, the chicken fried steak is really good. We usually sit in the bar and I think it is Tina who takes great care of us. Don’t expect to find a high end restaurant but you will find good food and good service.

For years this used to be a great dining destination in Port Angeles, we always went here. Now it seems to have done a 180. We waited an hour for pancakes and eggs, we had our 2 year old with us which made it very difficult, they never offered her anything while waiting. The place was busy, but there was a severe lack of service and no apologies after politely waiting an hour for a very dismal breakfast. Would not recommend anyone going through this.

By the time we hit P.A. we were starving… Traylor’s has been there forever and always looks busy so it must be good eh? I think the cars are bar patrons as it was dinner hours and the place was not busy(Saturday nite). The food was just barely okay, cheeseburgers and fries/tater tots, coke(best ever) and a glass of wine. Hostess was A-1, waitress okay, but the tab was $ 40.00. We both commented that you can get a much better burger and fries at a fast food joint for much less. I want premium food and service for premium prices.

Haven’t been here in almost 30 years. And it looks about the same now as it did 30 years ago. But in a good way. Keep in mind it’s a diner. Feels like a diner, smells like a diner, and the food is diner quality. think patty melts, french dip., burgers. I had the French dip, not a lot of meat, more bun

OK, don’t go here if you don’t like sticky tables and furniture with a patina of carefully cultivated handling by greasy fingers. The décor dates from that epoch that is lost in time. Post 50s/60s chic, pre 70s/80s camp. Hard to explain. The service is exactly what a diner is about– experienced and efficient, not where you are hypocritically a valued part of the family. The food– I always get the fish n chips. Some of the best around. Though with the sanitation program I see in the front of house, I leave the cole slaw untouched.

My family and I came here for dinner and I had a great experience. Service was great, everyone was kind an the prices are fair for a tasty home cooked meal. I had the BLT with coleslaw and it was delicious! When I come back to town I will make sure to stop by again.

Friendly service is what my one star is about. Food was flavorless, clam chowder made with water, salad just lettuce and a few burned croutons. Ruben didn’t have any dressing and beef sandwich had mayo and lettuce only. Too expensive for the quality or lack there of.

Service sucked, slow waited about 15mins. To get our drinks, food was average should of been better for the price in my opinion.

went there for lunch with family. The place should be torn down. Look up at the ceilings and some are missing as well as hanging down. Service was good however the food was lousy. Greasy and cold. I just wonder where the health inspector is in PA.

Not a great breakfast experience here… Came to Traylor’s for breakfast on a Sunday morning. The place was busy but not completely full– they should definitely have had more staff for the number of customers. Our server was nice but way too busy. It took a long time to get coffee, then to order, then to get the food(which was barely warm upon arrival), a request for hot sauce went unfilled, etc. The food was mediocre at best, too(might have been better if it was hot!). There is a dark cave of a lounge in the back that might be worth checking out sometime, but I’d go elsewhere for breakfast.

We are from out of town and found it hard to find a place to eat on a Sunday night. Saw that there were a lot of cars in the parking lot and decided to give it a try. The waitresses were very nice and greeted us immediately when we walked in and the menu looked interesting, but the food was between average to below average. We ordered two clam chowders, a tuna melt and a crab cheese sandwich thinking it would be pretty hard to mess up, but the tuna melt was a bland sandwich with unmelted cheese. My crab cheese sandwich wasn’t bad, but it left me feeling unsatisfied for the price. It was a small and had a little bit too much processed american cheese. It’s definitely a local place and has a friendly vibe, but the food is simply ok.

We were from out of town and ate at Traylors because it had tons of cars in the parking lot when most restaurants on 101 looked dead. It’s a local, no frills restaurant with decent food and good service. We ate in the bar area and enjoyed the Trivial Pursuit cards while we waited.
