Port “A” Pizzeria

For a buffet, this place is great. The food tastes pretty good and there is a nice variety. The price was cheap, and if you’re not looking for fancy this is the place to go…

My husband and I just ate here because of the high Unilocal rating. We were not impressed… the pizza and spaghetti were marginal. The buffet was constantly low on food. They wouldn’t bring more pizza until almost all of it was gone. I have to admit the dessert pizza was pretty tasty… Otherwise I would have probably given it 1 star. For $ 10 a person which includes your drink and dessert… I guess you can’t complain too much.

My wife and I went yesterday and arrived at the same time as a bus full of students. We were amazed how efficient the restaurant was. The pizza we fresh and abundant, the dirty dishes were removed promptly, & salad bar was well stocked.
The best bargain on the island. Pizza buffet, salad bar, drink,& desert for $ 10. I highly recommend port A pizzeria.

Average pizza buffet. Nothing spectacular or special but serves the purpose when you’re starving and nothing in Port A is open (Monday).
The place was pretty busy due to a tour bus while we were there. The pizza was a little slow to come out and they had a hard time keeping the buffet full because of the large amount of people. But overall everything was ok. We would return if we had to, but wouldn’t be rushing there because it was fabulous.

Happy day, oh, happy day! Who would’ve thought I would find legit gluten-​free pizza in Port Aransas! But, low and behold, not only pizza but breadsticks! And they were REALLY good! Buffet price (plus $ 2 for GF) and they let me take my leftovers home! I highly recommend Port A Pizza!

Good food. Stopped in for a late lunch during the week. Very busy. Great lunch buffet, salad, pasta, pizza, and dessert pizzas. Order at the counter. Full menu also.

Very good pizza after a very awesome day. Too tired to do much else and so glad it was as good as it was.

Our family was here for the week and thought we would order the recommended port a pizza for a special treat, but I must say that the pizza was just awful-​I think we got the pizza from the buffet that no one ate-​hard, pre made crusts were inedible. I called to let the person in charge know about our experience and she said it was probably because we were the last stop for the driver and she would check to see what happened. Nice to blame to driver for the quality of the pizza, don’t you think? Maybe the Slice of Chicago in Port A has better pizza…

Your experience here will almost certainly depend on your expectations going in. If you are hoping for gourmet pizza, you will probably be disappointed. If you are hoping for solid, decent pizza that you can totally pig out on buffet-​style, then this place will come through just fine! The dessert pizza is definitely a highlight — especially the cinnamon one! I personally ate enough to get my money’s worth for 10 bucks.

Tasty pizza and salad buffet. They make pizza for you on request. Excellent gluten free options, even on the buffet. Hawaiian, BBQ Chicken, veggie, it’s great. The dessert pizzas include cinnamon-​sugar, chocolate (my kids loved it), cherry, and my favorite: apple. All meals come with ice cream for dessert. This is a great family dining option.

The pizza was ok. Salad bar was great and so was the pasta.
I came in one a Saturday night at 8:30pm and it wasn’t too busy. It took about an hour for more spaghetti pasta to be put out. The dessert pizza were pretty good!
Friendly service is nice after a long day at the beach.

It’s not horrible. $ 10 for buffet with a small salad section isn’t really bad. The pizza is mediocre, nothing really to get super excited about but it will do. The restaurant it’s self was clean and service was very nice. I can see how this would be a great place to come with a family and kids. But for me next time I’ll stick with a frozen pizza.

The servers here are all very friendly, I like the all you can eat pizza, it’s not too bad at all, be aware that you have to pay ahead of time (it’d be nice to pay after, so you don’t have to tip before you’ve even interacted with anyone). Besides that one flaw this place makes good pizza and lots of it.

We ate here for lunch again and as usual the food was great! Service was friendly and if you wanted a special pizza they had it out for you quickly. We always walk out happy… and needing a nap. Haha.

I haven’t been to the buffet, but we ordered delivery to the hotel room since I wasn’t feeling well. I saw that the rating of this place was pretty high and it was similar to Cici’s Pizza. The price wasn’t bad based on looking at the website. $ 10 for all you can eat buffet, but the pizza prices were quite high.
Already having eaten dinner, we just ordered a 12″ supreme pizza and added anchovies. Was it worth it? It was not. I honestly think Cici’s is a lot better. If you order to go at Cici’s the pizza seems to be slightly higher quality than this place. When we received the pizza and the mini corn dogs and fries, you definitely know that these things were frozen before being baked. We paid money that we could’ve picked up ourselves at a grocery store to be baked and delivered to us. Not worth the price.
Although, the only reason why I give this place two stars instead of one, is because our delivery boy was adorable. Not in a «hot» kind of way, but more that he was excited that we tipped him five dollars for dropping off our order.

Ask for well done crispy. But no it always comes soft and mushy.
This is not pizza, when u have to fold it like a taco to eat.

Went there on a Saturday got there a little before noon. It was quiet when we got here but 3 large group of basketball kids came in. I have to say they kept up with the demand. The price included drinks, salad bar, pizza and ice cream. Good for the price.

Oh hell yes!!! This place was super rad.
Pizza– inexpensive and delicious. Very fresh ingredients. We skipped the Buffet (looked good though) and order a supreme and a veggie.
My girlfriend had a trip to the salad bar, also crazy fresh.
The atmosphere– so dive-​y, very family, also outdated in a very good way. It reminded me of a pizza joint from small town 80’s.
Service– was excellent! So friendly, Gloria and Bernadette took great care of us as well as the nice guy behind the counter with the Wisconsin accent.

This place is AWESOME.
The sweet boy behind the counter, although awkward, will do anything to make you happy. I stumbled in one night still drunk and he happily gave me recommendations. Also we came 3 times in our stay in Port A.
The Italian sub was PERFECTION.
The pizza buffet was totally worth it. They even brought out an Alfredo chicken pizza.
Did I mention they gave us an apple pizza for Ambers birthday?!?

It is tough to find spots to eat at Port A that don’t cost you an arm and a leg but this is one of them. We stopped in for lunch after being on the beach all day (we were starving). The buffet was great and I fed my whole small family for around $ 30 (that was amazing). It was a good experience.
