Dear Movie Theater owners, I went to see Transporter tonight and a few movie goers showed up and did not pay. They were MICE. Yes, you read correctly MICE. I sat down and the movie started then I saw something out the corner of my eye come towards me on the floor. I moved further up just in case and one was sitting in the aisle by my current seat so I picked my feet up. Then 20 mins into the movie another was sitting on the steps. Just sitting there. I tried to record it but it was too dark. Did not want to take a picture because the flash would have gone off and I did not want to disturb anyone. Just an FYI they were babies which mean mom and pops were not far away. Disgusting. I think it is time to suck it up and drive to BMT. Good luck!

Sure hope they get some new employees to go with their new makeover. They’re not very friendly. Went to see a movie there last night and there was three people working and they all looked and sounded like their dog just died. If they want this new theater to go anywhere they really need to make sure they have good employees because that will cause a business to lose money no matter how nice the theater is. I won’t give my business to rude people that’s for sure. I’ll drive the extra 10 miles and go to a beaumont theater just to deal with friendlier employees.

Ok Ok why all the bad reviews? After reading all of the negativities here I’ve been trekking 20 miles to the other two in the Beaumont area but was beckoned by co workers to meet them here for a dude’s night out in the middle of the week. I have seen two movies here, both of them being 3d and have not noticed the damage that others have seen. I might have walked in with my eyes closed but all I can say is the theater does appear small from the outside and no notable odors coming from anywhere except from the popcorn machine. One might feel that this is a sub standard theatre if you’ve been spoiled to the likes of the Silverado’s and Tinsletowns but it’s perfect if you dwell close by and do not want to drive into the other town. One thing I can say is at least it’s better than the dollar theaters, you do however pay full price for something that is a little outdated. If you can contain yourself for 20 minutes and want better experiences then there is Tinsletown on I 10 as well as Hollywood Theaters by Parkdale Mall. It’s $ 11 for a bucket of popcorn *ouch*, $ 6 for a large soda *ouch* and $ 11 for an adult priced 3d ticket *kind of ouch* but your local dollar store across the highway can help you with certain unwanted items brought in if you know what I mean *wink wink*. The staff on both occasions did not appear rude however but did not jump up and down for joy as they greet you, at least they don’t show the«I’d rather be somewhere else» blues but don’t expect a thank you, enjoy your movie” spiel either. Parking is… well it’s attached to the mall so you know how the parking is. Back up a little, since this mall is almost a ghost town you will NEVER have problems with parking. The restrooms do not have paper and things thrown all over the place but it is kind of hard to mess up if you don’t have that many patrons to do it in the first place, not a bad thing if you are the one that is delegated to clean these. Climate is comfortable, not too hot, not too cold inside.

Do not waste your time. This theater was heavily damaged during I believe it was Hurricane Rita and never repaired. This chain that owns this theater is in the Midwest and I’m beginning to think they keep it open as a loss on their taxes. We had stopped going to this theater over a year ago because of the conditions but tried it again last night in the futile hopes of improvement. Alas NO. As we walked in on the pre trailers about 10 minutes to feature, there was volume but no picture. I thought not again, so we go ask a employee only to be told that was normal and the picture would start with the trailers?!(Sorry advertisers who paid good money to have pre ads on a screen, you are screwed). The trailers did start, the movie did start, only to lose all sound about fifteen minutes into the movie. So of course I get up again and inform them of that. They fix it and rewind the movie. It has now become a running joke among my family if something will NOT break down during one of this theaters films! I’d say of the last ten films seen here, at least eight had technical difficulties. As to the theater itself. Like previously stated, it was damaged years ago and never repaired. So add to that regular maintenance? Forget about that happening! We were in room five-it smelled like unclean AKA funk, and worse. The seats are in a state of disrepair to the point you wonder if it’s a fun house rather than a movie house and it’s part of the attraction. Lumpy, uneven seats, arm rests ripped off, nasty carpetless floors that have never been mopped. And the reason why they keep it continually dark? So that you will not see the COLLAPSEDROOF, complete with hanging insulation and Rubbermaid container in situ to catch rainwater! Take my advice-spend a bit more on gas and go to ANY of the Beaumont theaters instead.

They should just go on and turn this into a dollar movie theater instead of charging normal prices. It’s a dump! The sound is terrible and picture is worse. Oh, and it’s REALLY dark so be careful if you come in late or need to get up during the show.

I swear to God this is the worst theatre I’ve ever been to. The concessions suck, the staff sucks, the theater itself sucks and the prices suck. It stinks, it’s ALWAYS dirty and the movie messes up more often than it should because of either the crap equipment or crap staff. I can’t begin to relate how much I hate this place and everything about. I would compare this movie theater to AIDS. It’s that bad.
