I have heard for so many years how people would drive from Beaumont to Port Arthur for this food. I could not wait to try it, because everyone spoke so highly of the food. I am at the new J&J’s in Beaumont, and I know that when something first opens you have to get the kinks out. Unfortunately, you only get one chance with my stomach. I have eaten at other take out places in the Beaumont area such as Kickin Chicken, John’s Seafood, Krystal Market, and I have been very pleased with the food. On the contrary, unless this new establishment in Beaumont is separate from the two in Port Arthur, this is HORRIBLE to say the least. This is the worst spent $ 30 I can think of… I am fair enough to say that this is my opinion, and I am not suggesting that anyone else should feel this way. I will be back to Kickin Chicken, it tastes so much better. I guess my taste buds are different.

The place is very clean… Big menu to chose from with some very decent prices… Working at the plant nearby, we take turns buying lunch for each other… You can get a variety of chicken or seafood. The salt & pepper wings are very good… The catfish is also very good. Highly recommend this place.

Really good chicken. It wasn’t greasy or too salty, it was perfect! It is right off the main road and if you order ahead it’s even better

The food here is very delicious! Not in the best area of town but worth it if you’re passing by or want something quick and convenient. The salt and pepper wings are the best. Very nicely flavored and delicious!

Best fried chicken I’ve ever had. Real hole in the wall place located in the ghetto is right but I don’t care you can’t beat those wings. Crack Chicken baby. mmmmm goood. Highly recommend.

A real hole-in-the-wall place located in the ghetto. Very good salt and(red) pepper wings! Service is friendlier than any other Chinese take out I’ve been to. This place is operating with«fast food» in mind, so expect to order to-go, but if you must dine-in, there are a couple minimalist tables and chairs available.

Omg. The only thing we get is the salt and pepper chicken. It is so delicious. We try to be as healthy as we can so when we are in this small town this is out cheat. Just close your eyes because it is definitely a hole in the wall.

OMGosh! We call it CRACK chicken! We had so many people on our project at Motiva ADDICTED to this chicken! We have tried it several other places but this is the BEST! You can call ahead and order for pick up. YUM!

Alright… to confirm the other Unilocaler’s reviews, the salt and pepper wings are delicious and the shrimp are really good quality for the price… as far as everything else goes this place isn’t that great… the service is slow and uncomfortable, and the place isn’t the cleanest. The prices are good though, and location isn’t terrible. Definitely worth a trip… for the wings anyway.

Just yes. Go here, at least once in your life. The wings are the best I’ve ever had, their shrimp is a close tie, and the egg rolls are just downright sinful. Honestly, if you haven’t had the J J’s experience you’re missing out!

When you think about the ghetto most people don’t think that a restaurant of any quality could be located in one; This place is in deep PA and worth the drive. It is at this little hole in the wall is where my love for Salt and Pepper Wings started. There is no phone-ins or pre orders, just get in line and wait your turn. While waiting you will see people of all types, some driving Beamers, some driving Hondas and some rolling on deuces, you might even see the occasional set of spinners. If you don’t know what I am talking about, join me at this wonderful blue collar restaurant and you will learn quick that these wings will transcend your social or economic status; because if you are a blue collar restaurant located in the heart of blue collar people you are either great or out of business.

I was always told«Don’t judge the book by it’s cover». This is one of those places… Their chicken wings are out of this world… I don’t know about the rest of their menu I can only say you gotta try their wings, who would have thought that green leaf onion and fried chicken wings would make you say mmmmmmmmmm…

Known for their wings. They have it down to a science. The season is perfect every time. I brought some to work, now my coworkers are hook. Some travel almost 10 miles to get«a Fix». When they close for a holiday or vacation, many people have withdrawals. Their menu has many items to choose from, but I havent had a interest in them. Just cant get past the wings.
