Don’t let the look of the place scare you away, they have great tacos!
My friend and I stopped here for dinner, the service was super quick and very friendly! We both had tacos, I tried 3 tacos– chicken, steak, and chizro (sp?) all super delish! The tacos came with cilantro, hot sauce, and onions. We also split the queso and chips. The chips were really good but the queso was cold and kind of tasted store bought, I would skip on this part.
The prices are super cheap! Seating is outdoors in a porch like area so there is covering. I would visit again!

this place is amazing!!! Did not know what to think because it’s on the side of the highway and doesn’t look like much, but the food is excellent. It was completely empty both times I went and the service was fast. Good margaritas, also. The guacamole was AMAZING.

The chicken and chorizo flour shell tacos are top 5 for me all time. The carnitas I forgot to taste separately. By the third taco I was still just inhaling them. They are $ 2.25 for soft. $ 1.75 for corn. Also get a side of guac to go with free chips and to top your tacos! ;) cube sliced avocado and pico blend. Wish we had a place half this good back in Montana.

Love this place. Family owned, great food and reasonably priced. Never disappointed. Only down side is no air conditioning. Seats are in a screened area. Don’t go on a hot summer day. Or order take out ;)

Best Mexican I’ve ever had! The enchiladas verde are amazing! The guacamole is delicious! Prices are great too!!! Real Mexican food with a true homemade taste, the flavors are amazing! The staff is wonderful and sweet! Another great family owned spot! We love it!

Went for dinner. Food was excellent. We had the chicken fajitas and al pastor corn tacos. The tacos were really spicy, just the way I like them. Also ordered guacamole and chips. Some of the best guacamole I have ever had. This place is run family style so you might have to wait. They really needed one more person working. Have patience, the wait will be worth it.

Stopped in based on their reviews on Unilocal.Not bad, but wasn’t spectacular. It was raining so the outside seating was a little cold (but I was completely dry). They were out of almost any of the beers that I wanted so I settled for Bud Light on draft. The guacamole was really good. Nice thick avocado chunks, lots of tomatoes. I had three chicken corn tacos. Also pretty nice, but really wished they were more spicy. All in all, I’d come back if I was in a taco mood and didn’t feel like driving down to Jimmy’s or Tijuana Flats.

Would have never stopped in in a million years if I didn’t read the reviews on Unilocal.Atmosphere is almost nonexistent. However the service was extremely friendly the food was excellent and it was the best guacamole I ever had my life. We’ll definitely be back.

Outdoor seating only, so you may want to consider take out in the hot summer months. The guacamole is made fresh !!

First time. Will be back. True Mexican food so you need to be aware some dishes may be to spicy so check first. Great setting with plenty of shade and breeze. Prices are very good. $ 7.99 for three enchiladas with beans and rice. Still will go to Jimmy’s but this is going into the rotation.

We decided to stop in after reading all the great Unilocal reviews. I am so happy we decided to stop In today. The sopas were to die for! The whole place has an amazing tropical feel and the staff are very nice and helpful. Service was fast but the food was just amazing. So much better the the chain Mexican food around!

The good — Staff was pleasant.
The average — Chicken enchiladas.
The bad — The guacamole was 50% tomatoes, the beans were cold, the tacos were dry.
This is not authentic Mexican and I wouldn’t bother going back.

I have eaten at a lot of Mexican dives before but this one ranks pretty high. The chicken enchiladas were great, I asked for red sauce instead of green and they were happy to accommodate. The queso had chunks of fresh tomatoes — YUMM! And my husbands burrito was fresh and wrapped in a homemade tortilla.

This place is AUTHENTIC Mexican food. Everything is hand made. Ice cold beer and wine.
Absolutely fantastic. Very small eating area in a screened in porch. Some outdoor tables.

Side note I am a Colombian working in DC and I grew up in Miami, I know Hispanic food. And this place is the real deal.
