I read the reviews and was intrigued because I often go to Bella Napoli on 41, where the NY pizza is wonderful. But it is a bit of a drive. I live close to Joe’s so I figured I’d try it. The crust is certainly good and crisp and the XL is, well, XL! But that’s as far as it goes. The sauce is OK, but lacks a tang and is drier than I’m used to. I ordered the«works» but think I got the«w — s»: there was lots missing. You expect toppings galore when spending $ 21. The pepper pieces were nearly microscopic: I cook and didn’t know you could consistently slice peppers that small and thin. The onion was scarce to nonexistent on each slice. I counted 1.5 small pieces of SMALL mushrooms on a slice… the same for pepperoni. There are eight slices: do the math! The sausage amounted to tiny pieces not much larger than BB’s! I had to search to find them. And not many of them! «If you can make it there, you can make it anywhere» sings Blue Eyes. And if you can’t you move to Port Charlotte, I guess. I might try something else there or stick to a plain cheese, but come to think of it even that was sparingly applied. GOTOBELLANAPOLIFORGREATNYPIZZA

This was one of the worse Pizza;s I have ever had. I ordered extra cheese, extra sauce, peppers, and onions with mushrooms. The cheese was nonexistent. Skimpy on the sauce, and I needed my reading glasses to see the peppers. Onions were non existent as well. I guess he used a whole mushroom for the pizza. How can you screw-up a pizza. Well go to Joe’s and you will find out. To put it mildly, it sucked elephant balls!!!1.

It’s places like this that make me fall in love with Unilocal all over again. My Dad lives in Port Charlotte and I’m from Pittsburgh. He always has a bunch of places to eat on our to do list and it’s nice when I’m able to find a place he hasn’t tried before and it ends up being fantastic. I wanted to bring a pizza home after watching a beautiful sunset at the beach and I didn’t want to settle for a mediocre pizza chain. My boyfriend found this place on Unilocal and we are very happy we gave it a try. We got a large half pepperoni half plain and an order of garlic knots. The knots were a little dry but the pizza more than made up for it. Definitely give this place a try!

I have searched for New York pizza for 10 years, last week I found Joe’s. This is the best pizza in Florida. All those chain stores have no idea what pizza is. This is a small place just a couple tables, real nice people. You have to try it, find out how pizza is supposed to taste.

As NYC dwellers, we are usually pretty disappointed by pizza outside of the 5 boroughs. Who knew such yummy pizza was hiding in a strip mall in Port Charlotte? Not us. We ate in, so we were able to taste the pizza straight out of the oven, which is alway best. Nice thin crispy crust, the right ratio of sauce and cheese… yippee!

Had a pie from Joe’ Pizza today. It was FANTASTIC!!! Joe’s pizza is makin it happen. Why would anyone near Joe’s get pizza from the gas station is beyond me. Keep rock in those pies boys, it doesn’t get any better around McCall/776 than Joe’s.

Joe’s Pizza is literally minutes away form my home and I cannot be happier. Their pizza is amazing, pasta dishes are great, and the meatball sub is a must have. However the shining star form Joe’s is the Sicilian pizza. I’m a big fan of the thick crust of a Sicilian and Joe’s is the only place in the area that makes it right.
