This ice cream place was awesome! First they have a really delicious unique ice cream selection — we tried the Plantation Praline and Chocolate Almond. The praline one was amazing with Carmel, pecans, and vanilla ice cream. The chocolate almond one was perfect to its name, creamy chocolate ice cream with whole almonds in it! The staff were really nice and pleasant. Outside they have a bunch of big comfy lawn chairs with the perfect view for sunset. This place is the perfect treat any time of the year!

Wow! Totally recommend going for a sweet treat here! Every flavor we had was awesome! The guy behind the counter made the kids ice cream cup extra special with little eyes and a delicious piece of homemade waffle cone.

I am visiting my parents from Los Angeles and I really wanted ice cream after a long day out in the boat in the sun. This place was exactly what I had in mind. The ice cream is so creamy and smooth. My mom and I have both talked about how good it was since the day we went. I’m definitely making another trip there before I leave. It reminds me of ice cream places I’d go to as a kid growing up on the jersey shore.

Cute place, very friendly, and we enjoyed everything we tried — ice cream (Big Olaf’s Amish out of Sarasota), gelato, Italian ice. Trashcan, Cinnamon Roll, and Chocolate Lovers stood out, but the selection was huge. Thinkin we’ll need to come back just to try out some more. And maybe pick up some of that Amish jam — really intrigued by the FROG Jam and the Traffic Jam. Definitely worth a stop if you’re visiting from out of town. And if you’re a local and haven’t tried it yet I’m thinkin you must have a thing against ice cream or something

This is the cutest little ice cream store. They have many flavors of ice cream that is made all natural every week. They have all kinds of ice cream, yogurt, gelato and sorbet. They make sundae, shakes. parfaits and pretty much anything you can think of that is made out of ice cream. I go there once or twice a week. They have recently repainted and changed the look of the store. If you have been there before go back if you haven’t been there, it is so worth your while. The owners are such very nice and friendly people. They also serve soup and sandwiches, it is a great place for a quick bite to eat or for a cone.

Just visited the ice cream place again today try to make it a weekly stop… I happened to read a review by RobN…
I think he must be a competitor from the nasty place down the road because every flavor of ice cream I’ve tasted in there is no less than awesome… And the staff is as friendly as as they come… Today I had sea salt caramel gelato… that too was amazing!

On vacation, wanting ice cream & not sure where to go, check out Unilocal.We were heading to a different ice cream shop when all of us saw an «ice cream» sign. So we decided to pull in & give it a try. We were not disappointed.
I had the coconut almond joy, J & J had the chocolate peanut butter & S had the mint chocolate chip. We shared our ice cream with each other and of course, each of us thought our personal choice was the best!
They have a map on the wall where you can place a push pin on where you live. It was fun to see how far customers had come.

We were in the mood for ice cream and the yellow place up the road was just okay and over priced. Glad we stopped here. Prices were reasonable, ice cream is delicious, and the staff is so much more friendly then the yellow place with just a window. Ice cream is not made on premise, but supplied by an Amish dairy farm. Still really good!

My family and I have been twice to get ice cream, and both times the costumer service and Ice cream were both wonderful! First time we went we brought our dog to sit with us out side and they gave us a little dish of vanilla ice cream with a dog biscuit. The second time we went it was my sons birthday and they got him a balloon. The ice cream is delicious and the price is reasonable! Definitely going to be my families go to place for ice cream!

They may be NEW and its possible you will have to turn back after seeing the ICE CREAM sign… BUT DO TURN AROUND as their Ice Cream and Lunch Sandwiches are EXCEPTIONALLY GREAT… A Family based business that is located across the highway from the The COVE Golf course and Driving Range and ONLY about 2 MILES West of Port Charlotte Stadium, (Spring training home of the Tampa Bay Rays). They have tables & chairs inside and out, a section of regional souvenirs and MORE ICE CREAM FLAVORS than anyone! Special requests for a particular Frapachino, (spelling?), were met with a smile and a PERFECT rendition that was so delicious I came back for more in 2 days! Great people, service and products… MAKE it a POINT to VISIT SOON!!!
