This was our first visit to the restaurant but it certainly won’t be our last! Cute bistro style tables for 2 and high top tables constitute the dining area. Our order consisted of chicken tenders which were moist with a medium batter. Husband ordered a meatball sub while my son selected a steak bomb. The steak melted in his mouth. It was complimented with onion, salami and cheese. The meatballs were heated on the grill, allowing for the cheese to be melted on top. The sauce was tasty and the bun nice and fresh. Both men commented that these were the best they ever had! This is a family run restaurant with Mom and daughter working lunch and father and son in the evening. Well done!

Tried this place last night with my husband. Solid. Hot peppers were outstanding and at the end of day, it was as good a cheesesteak as I’ve ever have had — in or out of Philly. Guys were friendly. Not overly so, so I felt I was back in the Northeast. Place is a hole in the wall sandwich place. No special ambiance but I didn’t expect much more, either. Will be back.

The Philly cheesesteak was really really good. The place really does make you feel like you in philly eating. I seen people post they was rude, well I’m not sure if the rude person no longer works there or was off for the day cause my service was really great. The people worked there where very polite but I was more and less going to eat there not socialize with them. But a true philly environment, maybe would felt little more like in philly if they was little rude, lol. I would definitely go back

I am from Philadelphia, and this is one of the few places that get it right. I have tried most items and it is all good. If you want a really Philly cheese steak and not sliced beef. I highly recommend.

This place is a what a hole in the wall should be ! I got the cheese steak bomb with cheese wiz… one word… amazing. this is a true Philly cheesesteak. I highly recommend it. It was juicy… cheesy and filling. The cookies were very delicious too. The only thing is that is really crammed, but on a slow day it’s no big deal. Locals… go try this place!

A former philly guy here… this is as close to the real thing your going to get. I would have no problem bringing my family from the north here. Great job guys!

I’m a New Englander who is a FL transplant. It’s tough to find decent food down here — the seafood doesn’t compare, the chinese is poor, much of the italian food is sub-par… …so imagine my surprise when I stumbled across this place and it served up the single best cheesesteak I’ve ever had outside of Philly. It’s a little dinky place with two rows of 2-man tables. The owners run this like a typical Philly cheesesteak place(which means know what you’re going to order before you step up) and so forth. You don’t come here for the atmosphere. You come here for the cheesesteaks, which are to die for. Authentic(meaning processed cheese goes on the cheesesteak), great meat, the bread is flown in from Philly and it’s packed full of goodness if you want it(onions, peppers, etc). This is now a standard run in our household because they’re so awesome. In short, if you love a good cheesesteak and are in the area, this is the place to get one. Update: Went back again on 8⁄2. It was just as good as it was the first time.

So. As a native Philadelphian, and fat man foodie, I know good food, especially a good cheese steak. I saw that T’s deli got good reviews, but the bread totally sucked. Then I went to the Philadelphian… Best cheesesteak around. I felt like I was home again… Cheesesteak fans must check this place out… You won’t be disappointed…

A little bit of south philly in Port Charllotte. Venture inside and you will not be sorry. Very good and fresh cheese steaks. Amoroso rolls and whiz and grilled onions and anything else you might desire. Birch beer fountain, and Herrs chips. Ahhh, miss my Tony Lukes.

Being a Philly native, ANY place that imports Amoroso Rolls just for their sandwiches is heaven sent. Great cheese steaks! Best South of Philly line.

I grew up in Port Charlotte and go back to visit family often. This place is my first stop! I get chicken cheesesteaks every time and am never disappointed. I have lived all over the East Coast and this place has the best I’ve ever had.

For anyone that loves cheessteaks look no further. These guys make the real deal and know exactly how it’s done. Every sandwitch is made to order on the spot. It’s a little h ard to find, if traveling north on 41, it’s just past the German Butcher.

I love good cheese steaks. The Philadelphian makes good cheese steaks. Well, maybe it is time to go to the Philadelphian. While the interior of this little strip mall business is a tad smoky, they do cook your sandwich and food for you on the spot. You can get onions, peppers(hot or sweet), and mushrooms on your cheese steak. When served, the cheese is fully melted into the chopped up steak and just tastes good. I like to put a little hot sauce and hot peppers on mine to get that extra kick. Located on Northbound Tamiami Trail between Midway and Forest Nelson, it is a tad difficult to get into if you are going south. It is well worth the inconvenience, though.
