This is now a Key Food. They play Spanish music throughout the entire store which is unusual for a large chain supermarket. I’m not sure if that will help or hurt. On my way to larger, cleaner Stop & Shop five minutes away!

Its gone down hill from when I use to shop here. It is a Pathmark and its never been the cleanest grocery store, but the building is showing it’s age. It’s in a rough part of Port Chester(not sure what that means today). With the Whole Foods opening up on Boston Post Road and Costco in the center of town, they need to refresh this place and fast. Its alright for picking up a few packaged items, but I worry about anything fresh.

Let’s be real. Pathmark is a grocery store. Granted, it is a fairly large and expansive grocery store. But it is a grocery store thru and thru with aisle upon aisle of food and sundries. The thing about this Pathmark is it’s blocks from the Courtyard Rye and makes stocking a mini-fridge in a hotel room super easy. Sliced cheeses, deli meats, salty snacks, yogurts, fruit juce and the like can all be acquired for a pittance. This store even fries chicken. I love this place and hope to return again and again. Second visit Sunday, March 9, 2014.

I used to shop at Pathmark in Queens all the time when I was a kid, so it was cool to see a branch way out here in Westchester. This location is much like every other Pathmark out there; it’s not the fanciest supermarket there is, nor is it the cleanest, or friendliest. But they, like all Pathmark’s, have some great deals from week to week, for example, $ 1.50 for a half pound block of cheddar cheese or $ 2 for a big thing of OJ. You can save a ton of cash if you just pick up their specials. That alone makes this place worth shopping at.

It’s Pathmark. It’s big. They have a lot of things for cheap. I can easily walk here. Will update when there is more to say.
