Kenny House

I was having a ton of back pain at work today. I called The Kenny House and they were able to get me in within 2 hours. I saw Pam, who did a WONDERFUL JOB. I left pain free. Thanks Pam.

When I was researching for a place to get a massage for a relaxing weekend getaway with my mom, all the B&B places I inquired at all seemed to point their fingers to The Kenny House. Considering our last-​minute planning (we were literally looking for a B&B place for the weekend and trying to book appointments the week of), Nancy was able to fit us in their busy schedule for Sunday morning.
I must say, I was SO HAPPY that they fit us in! Not only did I instantly fall in love with the ambiance– but Pam worked her magic and somehow made all the body aches and pains go away! I loved the fact that we were getting massages done in a house. Although the stairs were creaking, I thought it brought a little character to the place. The rooms were well decorated– vintage, with flowers, and relaxation fountains.
I got a 60-​minute full body massage where I asked Pam to focus on my neck/​shoulders since its where I carry all my stress. I also was aching in certain areas like my upper back and wrist— from playing dodgeball (don’t ask)– it’s been a week and I still feel absolutely wonderful!
1. Be sure to book appointments ahead of time. If they don’t pick up the phone they’re probably with a client so just leave a message with your name, number and when you’re interested in getting a massage.
2. Communicate with them what you want out of the experience and let the magic unfold.
3. There are 4 massage therapists to choose from! Nancy owns the business and took care of my mom who raved about her. And I had Pam who, as you already know, did a phenomenal job.
I wish Port Clinton wasn’t so far away! But I am willing to make the drive every now and then just for a massage!

This place is a very good place to get a very calm relaxing massage also got the reflexology for my feet though it could have been a bit deeper of a massage but don’t know much about that. Four stars cause you have to leave a message about getting an appointment. But the women are great!
