New China Restaurant

Sesame chicken was a little bland, fried rice was kinda boring, wonton soup looked like dumplings in water, and garlic beef wasn’t fully cooked (beef that thin shouldn’t be pink inside). Steamed dumplings were a bit soft like the dough was raw but otherwise tasty. To cap it off, my fortune cookie had no fortune. So much for trying a new place.

This is without a doubt my absolute favorite Chinese restaurant in Ulster County. Everything I have ever ordered has been epic. Hot and spicy shrimp, awesome. Shrimp rolls, egg rolls, boneless ribs, all of it is pretty damn great. Portions are probably to big, but no point in being a pig, unlike other take out it’s just as good re-​heated. Above everything else, the fried wantons are pretty close to culinary orgasmic as you can get. Toe curling stuff.
As far as service goes, they are very fast and prices are reasonable. But I don’t know of any Chinese restaurant where the employees seem to rush you off the phone when you call to order, so that’s the same everywhere. So, recommend to anyone and everyone.

An excellent spot for Chinese take out when living in or near Port Ewen.
I enjoy their combination plates. Sweet and sour chicken is my go to meal. My only complaint is that I’d prefer the sauce to be a little thicker. It’s very watery.
Can’t pass up an order of the crab ragoons either. They’re very crispy and don’t have too strong of a seafood taste.
Other than that, it’s your basic Chinese food restaurant. Prices are okay when ordering the combo plates. You do get a free pint of pork fried rice with every order over $ 20. Cash only.

Best Chinese food in the Hudson Valley. The chicken and broccoli in garlic sauce is our favorite, as well as the fried dumplings. Much better than any place in Kingston. They make their own spicy mustard too, you have to ask for it though… it’s amazing.

Food is ok… Average price.

No stars. Insect problem + your food = FAIL.

It’s good, and it’s the only Chinese place around for a couple of miles. I’ve never been disappointed there.
They mostly do takeout but also two small tables in the restaurant if you want to eat there.
The neighborhood is nice and there is parking around behind the restaurant.
