Writing this review for an Affordable Portables at Johnson drive in Ventura, which isn’t in Unilocal yet…
Called and asked if they had an iPhone 4 in stock and they said yes. When I got to the store, the manager said the only one they had was pre-​ordered by another person, but they’d sell it to me if I bought it with a car charger ($ 39.95 extra). They said they could get another phone for the other customer. I asked why I had to buy the charger with the phone if they could get another one so easily, and they gave me a sketchy run-​around answer. They essentially wouldn’t sell me a phone unless I bought an overpriced accessory with it. REALLY bad business. They’re already going to get a nice commision when I sign a two-​year contract, but insisted on making a bigger profit? WTF? I walked out and bought the phone at the Apple store, which has plenty in stock.
