Baymont Inn

I am giving only one star because my son liked the jacuzzi tub and the bed was comfy.
As for the lack of stars– that would revolve around unethical behavior and poor customer service. Our hockey team along with 3 other teams stayed at this hotel that it appears a lot of truck drivers stay at for a normal price of 69.99 a night. Because of a huge well known hockey tournament, Silver Sticks, that takes place in this small town, prices are elevated, which I understand to 130.00 a night. I also understand when they have the coach sign a contract that locks all families in for 4 days. What I don’t understand is how they let a few families out of a day on this contract and not others. I also don’t understand how if we are having to pay through a certain night and don’t check out but they knew we left, how they can rent our room out for the same day with then two parties paying for it? Is that even legal? I also don’t understand how I left a poor review of this place on tripadvisor and the manager responded saying I was mistaken that they re-​rented our room out. I take that as an insinuation I’m lying. Well funny thing, what he/​she doesn’t know is we called back that day and asked CJ, who answered the phone, if our room had been rented out. CJ told us it had and acted nervous about it. We had called after some teammates told us our room had been re-​rented and knocked on the door and it was not us so called us to see what was going on. So what I DO understand is the person who responded to my trip advisor probably should have called me before lying and they have no business running a hotel if they can’t be honest.

I am giving 4 stars. Very very clean. The staff is very accommodating and super friendly. They are eager to please. An added bonus that you can bring your pets. I was weary of staying here as there was only one review but am pleasantly surprise. Indoor pool and continental breakfast too.
