OK so the big 59 cent hamburger sign may scare people away, its too cheap to be any good right? Well part of the magic is that they are about half the size of a small hamburger. They are little rectangular two bite burgers(or one bite for you big mouths). Pickle, onion, mustard, ketchup. Cheese is an available option. Pickle and onion were fresh and the burger is clearly hand pressed REAL hamburger. No complaints at all. I probably didn’t need a dozen for myself, but for $ 6 I went all in. No ill after effects(ahem White Castle). Not the greatest neighborhood and nothing fancy, the hours seem flexible, but during the day I’d recommend these small burgers, for a Powers type fix. I have not tried the coneys or pizza yet. Their ad boasts Fresh Roasted Coffee roasted in Port Huron, have not tried that yet either. All cash but they’re working on getting credit cards and some other stuff. Hand dipped ice cream and beer and wine are on the coming soon list as well. I guess it’ll technically be a small store, right now there isn’t much selection, small assortment of canned goods. This place used to be a bakery, and the bake racks still occupy the store. It seemed like the owner(and his wife?) are doing the cooking and running the place. I take my chances so you don’t have to, but I was impressed.
