I always enjoy going to Jimmy’s on a warm summer day. And now they offer hot soup for those cold winter days as well.

So much to chose from, smiles galore! Not to mention ice cream and sweets! Who wouldn’t be happy??? So many custard favors! Try it it’s creamier than ice cream! They do pasties too which is a great Michigan treat! So much to try and Summer’s not long enough!

Okay. I went drive-through for this, and maybe that’s what you gotta do for customer service you won’t mind — idk, we’ll find out in the future. For now, this place gets five stars from a guy who knows dessert in ways you likely never will. I make an amazing triple coconut cheesecake. You name something coconut flavored, and you’ll name a product which is inferior to my coconut cheesecake because nobody but me is aware of my method for coconut flavor extraction. On my first visit to Jimmy’s an hour ago, I pondered the monolithic menu for a solid five minutes then settled on a coconut custard cone figuring, «It won’t be as good as my coconut cheesecake, but we’ll see how it stacks up.» It WAS as good as my coconut cheesecake. I was blown away. If I have some ice cream related need while out with friends, this place is where we’re going. I have no idea how DQ sells anything in this town. Pricey, sure, but imo Cold Stone has nothing on this. I have no idea where anyone could get that impression from, but shall make it a point to try other items on the menu and may perhaps downgrade my rating. I just don’t see it happening, as coconut is such a difficult flavor to properly extract. Everything else in the universe is very straight forward except for banana and(strangely) mango. In closing, I’ve crafted magnificent things out of almost every dessert flavor in existence, and coconut is the hardest. For them to nail it really says a lot to me as a dessert specialist.

Jimmy’s is definitely the place to get a yummy treat; whether you’re looking for custard, frozen yogurt, a slushie or a quick snack. Although they’re kind of pricey, the quality and freshness of the ice cream is totally worth it. The service is fast and friendly, always greeted with a smile. One of the best ice cream places in town!

I do not know why this has such great reviews. The quality and taste of the custard and the yogurt is far from good. I’m an ice cream fanatic… Ice cream, custard, froyo, sorbet… I love it all, and am by no means picky when it comes to any of the aforementioned, but the stuff they serve here is not something you could pay me to eat! The kids that work here are rude and very clearly have better things to do. The amount of custard, is ridiculously small. Drive down the street an 1⁄8 of a mile and get cold stone instead. At least there, you get a good amount for the price you’re paying. I’m sorry but I just don’t see what the fuss is about this place. Waiting in the always extremely long line, to get poor service, and a small amount of bad custard just isn’t my cup of tea… or ice cream for that matter.

Maybe I’m a little biased because I worked here many years ago in high school, but Jimmy’s is a real treat! Everything is very fresh and the sizes/favors are consistent. The peanut buster parfait and upside down banana split are my favorites… and get a flavored custard rather than plain chocolate or vanilla. I promise the extra cost is worth it! Anyone complaining about costs… It’s a locally-owned small business. Also, you get what you pay for. If you want cheap, feel free to sell your soul to corporate greed and go to DQ for a flavorless blizzard.

There are endless treat possibilities at Jimmy’s. You can order off the menu or make up your own. The upside down banana split is awesome, as are the J-lattes, the blueberry cheesecake flurry, and a peanut butter custard cone dipped in chocolate. They even have a dog cone for your four-legged friend. The service is always super too!

The custard is great — — - the cost is not. Its a bit overpriced as 4 items = $ 20. The multiple flavor option doesn’t add much. Large menu is a plus.

I ordered a Banana Split, large. A few minutes later, I stepped to the side window and received my order. Because it was so good, it didn’t last long. With plenty of outdoors tables, this is a very nice place to stop for ice cream. Quite a few families with toddlers and others with babies made the same choice while I was there.

I should have taken a picture of how small the $ 3+ double dip was, but to give you an idea I was almost done before I reached the Kroger across the street. The young lady serving me was not very friendly at all, even when I made the light-hearted comment, «This must be the perfect place to work on a 95° day…» She just cracked a forced smile and gave me my change. The older gentleman who I assume is at least a manager if not the owner, whom I had just seen crack a big smile for the person in front of me barely gave me ½ a glance. Someone may say he knew the person in front of me, but as someone who runs a small business only open for the summer months, shouldn’t you be friendly toward all your patrons??? This was my first and last visit! Poor across the board.

Found this place on Unilocal and decided to take the family there on vacation. Great overall experience. Service was fast, menu was huge, prices were good, and most importantly the taste was amazing. They have something for everyone from guilt free sugarless frozen yogurt to the real mccoy.

This is a great place to take my 2 year old granddaughter she gets so excited to stand in line and wait her turn to order her cone!

Don’t be turned away if you are wary of «custard» like myself, Jimmy’s has anything you could ever want when it comes to ice cream. More importantly, it is really good. If you are in the area, definitely worth checking out. Perfect summer treat!

Seasonally open Jimmy’s is an awesome treat! The best birthday gift of all is a Jimmy’s ice cream cake! I fully suggest special ordering a turtle cake. But, I know the oreo is also popular. You can’t go wrong picking anything from the HUGE menu!

You in the mood for a random crazy flavor of frozen custard, this is where you want to go. Peanut butter custard, black licorice custard or amaretto custard, jimmy’s has it all. It should be noted I am not a fan of frozen custard, but jimmy’s does it well.
