These folks do amazing work, and understand the concept of a thing call «service» that seems to be so lacking these days. They do amazing alteration work for both guys and gals — not unusual to see guys with work wear in here alongside moms with dance dresses. If you have wee ones, they have amazing hand made items, stuff you won’t find elsewhere, and are willing to do custom work. All in all, these folks are what small, Downtown/​Mainstreet shopping is all about.

Polka Dot Pandas is the Best alteration place in the area! The owner is very nice and easy to work with. I’ve had quite a few pants shortened here and my mother has had waistbands altered as well as zippers replaced and everything as turned out wonderfully. Their turn around time is usually very quick too. Highly recommend this store!

A great store with an «everything is handmade here» feel… from the tutus, to the swirly scarves, to the assortment of winter hats. I enjoyed my time in here as the «crafty lady» in me soaked in all the creations. The owner and her mother do alterations as well. That’s a good thing to remember in case the need arises as they were both very friendly and customer service oriented.
