Meat farms is where I get ALL of my produce. The fruits and vegetables are always fresh and the have the cheapest prices. Getting your produce here is far better than getting it at any grocery store.
Unfortunately, their other wares are not as cheap. Their meat is about the same price to a little more than a regular grocery store, but they have lots of cuts. We generally go to Bravo (which is now the Ideal Food Basket) for our meat, as they are almost always cheaper there.
The rest of the groceries are pretty standard prices. All in all a good place to stop for all your produce.

I know its Giunta’s «Meat Farms» but man do they have some good produce being sold at Giunta’s Farms.
Other Unilocalers have wrote about the quality of the fruits and veggies. I’m not seeing it, they have great pricing and different choices from the standard supermarkets. I will say, their produce is very fresh and the shelf life is quicker. Use at your discretion, I enjoy the variety.
The holidays are coming up, You really should stop by Giunta’s Meat Farms for mushrooms, celery, cheeses, lettuce and my favorite, pork rinds. ;D

I love Meat Farms. I usually only get produce here. The prices cannot be beat. I only wish the produce were organic. The freshness of some fruit can be better, however we cannot expect perfect summer fruits in January (I’m just saying). The parking lot can get a bit crazy. Probably because the lot is for an extremely busy plaza plus Meat Farms. I cannot comment on the staff of the store because I usually do not ask for help. Reasonable amount of registers open.

I used to get beautiful produce here… I’ve been living out of state for almost 2 years and when I came back, I was soooooo disappointed. The fruit and vegetables look like leftovers that got picked over or weren’t good enough to be sold at stop and shop. Prices have gone up, but still a fraction of the regular grocery stores.

Agreed the freshness of the produce has taken a dump in the recent months but they are not any worse then the produce in the other supermarkets in port jeff. and at least they are still cheaper.
Also their deli meat is also a good price for the quality.
As far as canned or box food goes they are pricier then the near by path mark.
