This facility isn’t all that bad. The line can get long but you need to know when to go. If you can go to work a little late head over on a Tuesday morning.
My first experience here almost went south. I was taking back a defective box for my mother-​in-​law. We just needed to swap the box, nothing more. When I got up to the window I was told someone on the account needed to make the exchange. After a few minutes of back and forth someone stepped in an said the account owner could add me as an authorized user. They would allow me to step away from the window and come right back after I was added to the account, skipping the line. Thankfully they were able to add me fairly easily by calling Optimum. Once this was confirmed I walked back up to the window. They took me right away and make the switch.
Do they need to improve? Sure. Can it be terrible? Yes. Go in understanding that it may be hell or try to find a time to go when it is quiet.

Cablevision: Optimum pkg: bus. location unk, arrival, on time and a call given as heads up. Tech # 2171-​damned polite. Replaced 25 yr old wires around entirety of house, did in house repair in two rms, corrected four items, worked non-​stop, did I say polite? So much so that I wanted to make him biscuits and gravy. All sys. go at no cost. New wires throughout. Tech 2171 has my gall darned heart.

need better hours… whenever you go in there be prepared to wait in line.

Offer a service; one that can, should, and needs to be improved.

Groan. I had to return a DVR on Saturday a few weeks ago. I get there at 11:30 and the line was out the door. After waiting and waiting and waiting. I finally get to the desk at 1:10 and 3 minutes later I’m done.
There has to be a better way.
