Sundaes

The acai bowl is amazing. If you go here, it’s a must try! You can make it as healthy or as unhealthy as you’d like. I stick with the original (acai berries, honey, granola, almond milk and fresh fruit). Sometimes I’ll even drizzle some peanut butter on it. It’s a quick, convenient and healthy splurge. It’s my must go to fro-​yo place.

Stopped in before movies. Great service, friendly owners and a one price cup!

Ah yes, another one of those fro yo shops! Sundaes is conveniently located in the same strip mall as PJ Cinemas. Awesome location if you ask me. They got our business because we had some time to kill before our movie started. They offer 14 different flavors of frozen yogurt and ice cream. And you have the option to make a swirl out of the pairings to create additional flavors. They have a decent amount of toppings, but I wasn’t too impressed. Only a couple kinds of fresh fruit that didn’t look overly fresh. I don’t think the topping selection compared to other bigger chains (i.e. Cups).
Be extremely careful when you select your cup. The Green Cups are a flat rate of $ 5.49 for all you can fill. The White Cups are weighed and you pay by the weight. I asked the girl for a tasting cup, and she said that she had to do it for me. Really? Do I look like I’m 5 years old? I’m perfectly capable of dispensing a taste without making a mess. Not a fan of that. But I obliged (I didn’t really have a choice since she was keeping the cups hostage behind the counter). The hubby loves vanilla and was extremely disappointed that both vanillas (fro-​yo and ice cream) were not working. We asked the girl and she said someone was working on it. Several other people were not happy about this. They need to pay closer attention to when the mix is low to prevent this from happening. My husband only got one flavor as a result and spent less money, their loss. Another customer threw away his cup and walked out. Bad business move if you ask me.
They also over traditional «hard» Hershey’s ice cream if that’s your thing.
The place was alright, but certainly nothing to write home about. Average at best.
