Days Inn Port Jervis

Rooms are about $ 60 very cheap, spacious room with two beds, a tv. A bit cliché but gets the job done. The continental breakfast isn’t anything much really, just eggs, bread and waffles. I’ve been to another hotel that actually had more of a section but this location is good enough for a night. This beats a motel for sure. There’s 2 vending machines past the lobby 75 cents for a bag of chips and 1.25 for Soda or water. Over all I give it a 4 star rating.

I’m giving 2 stars because it’s passable for a night’s stay. The place is in serious need of a renovation especially for the price. Air is not being run in the hallways which not only makes it warm… which is ok, except it smells stale, like a combo of cigarettes and who knows what else.
Walking in the room was a pleasant surprise… the furnishing are fairly new, there was a flat screen tv, microwave, coffee maker, and room safe. The rest of the room needs sprucing up… I never plugged my cell in for charging because I didn’t want to pull out the extension cord behind the night stand covered in dust bunnies! Kind of gross for a hotel.
The room was dark, not all bulbs were working. The bathroom definitely needed perking up… darkest bathroom I’ve been in — makes it tough for women to apply make up etc, webs in the alcove.
We skipped breakfast as their continental choices were not up to par with other hotels with continental breakfast offerings. Theirs included — Danishes, toast, cereal, apples, yogurt, coffee/​tea.
This is not a place I’ll visit again if I can help it.

This place really wasn’t bad at all. The reviews on here make it seem so much worse. The room was clean and service was great. I’m only giving 4 stars because the continental breakfast sucked.

The room was clean, bathroom was good, older TV but it worked fine, channel selection fair. Bed was pretty good and the linens were fine, overall a decent place at a fair price
Would I stay here again… yes

It’s not nearly as bad as some of the reviews would indicate. At least this room isn’t. Yes, it’s dated but it’s clean and there’s no mold, mildew or hair in the bathroom. The TV is older, 27″ tube set but works fine. Very acceptable for a place to catch some Zs during a road trip. No problems for us. Wouldn’t hesitate to stop here again.
Updated NEXT MORNING: Everything was peachy until shower time. No water pressure. Couldn’t even get the trickle to divert to the shower head. Took five minutes to get enough water in the bathroom sink to just rinse off. Now, that’s a deal breaker.

Stayed here one weekend while running the Reebok Super Spartan. Didnt want to spend a ton of money and this was priced right. Friendly staff, and good location. The hotel is under new management and is in process of being remodeled. the girl who cleaned my room asked if I needed a fridge for my beer, it was brought to my room very quickly. Once this place is remodeled, I have high hopes for it.

Shabby inside and outside. The desk clerk was the only staff on and couldn’t find our names until we gave here the reservation number. All she said was «Sorry, I’ve had a bad day». The room was acceptably clean, but there were no towels in the bathroom. We called down for towels and the desk clerk said we’d have to come down to get them since she was the only person on and couldn’t leave the front desk. Also, the ceiling of the room had obviously had a bad leak and been repaired, but not very nicely. The hallways looked like they hadn’t been vacuumed in long time with lots of direct building up along the edges.
