This place has an extensive menu, so there is a lot to choose from. That being said, the food is pretty average. The locals rave about it, but i think that is just because the other options in the immediate area are terrible. The gumbo does not have enough shrimp and the other menu items seem to be kind of bland.

I have never actually been here, nor have I had their food, but since moving to Austin I have had family bring me back their egg nog a few times, and will continue to do so every year. I don’t even like egg nog! But whatever recipe they use is out of this world. OUT. OF. THIS. WORLD!

Second time here. Fried shrimp last time brought me back this time. Tried grilled shrimp this time. Not as good as fried. They were grilled but had the flavor/seasoning of boiled shrimp, that shrimp boil/old bay flavor. I tried the smoked boudain which was pretty good. I enjoyed the green beans but i would skip the salad. The tea was good. I will try the ribs next time as a customer said there BBQ was really good.

We eat there all the time. The family business is alive and well in Port Neches Texas. When you order the gumbo ask Ms. Gloria to get it from the bottom.

I stumbled upon The Sea Ranch Café when I moved to Nederland a few years ago and I was looking for some crawfish. By far the BEST crawfish in southeast Texas. Family owned and operated. Everything they do, they do well. Fried catfish, fresh made boudin, and even home-made pork crackins(that don’t taste like burned grease)

Sea Ranch Café is awesome. I was in some months back and the service was great. I went in to purchase food for my family and the owner waited on me. He was very helpful and gave me a good deal on my purchase. The whole family loved the food. I’ll be back when I’m in town.
