Love it or Hate it. That seems to be the Port Orange Lowe’s experience. Got some help in the lighting department that was good. Found a lot of what I was looking for. Rolled up to the cashier with two carts and $ 800 worth of lights. We asked Larry the cashier how he wanted to do the check out and he said, «Just show me every UPC so I can scan.» What? You’re just going to sit and scan while we unload and reload the 20 boxes of lights? «Just show me UPC’s.» And that’s what Larry did, just sit and shoot the scanner as we presented each box for him. He never offered to help and never touched a one. Wow, what an idiot to have around your customers. Rude, Horrible customer service at the end of what had been a reasonably good experience.

My experience at Lowe’s is 5 star! I greatly appreciate the awesome service from Brad(Bath/Kitchen) and Justin and Adam(Flooring). My family owns a restaurant, AA Garden Fusion, in New Smyrna Beach, so I don’t have much time to get away. However, on two occasions at Lowe’s, especially yesterday’s Black Friday, I was blown away by the top-notch service. Brad & Justin were patient, knowledgable, and caring ! Brad spent almost 3 hours helping me gather all my kitchen and bath materials, and Justin called and arranged tile pickup from three other stores so I can have enough tiles to finish up my project. They valued my presence; consequently, got a loyal customer for many years to come! Management(Dan and Dave) should be very proud of these outstanding employees! Kudos to you all !

You know what you are getting when you walk in. For the most part I use the LOWE’s in Ormond and know that layout very well. When I visit this location it is more to brouse and kill time. That said I tend to find something that I want and ultimately buy when I brouse around.

Well sometimes there are redeeming qualities that warrants a review update a lot of the time it’s the people that earn these positive updates instead of the actual business its policies or practices this is the case here. One thing I’ve always hated about dealing with box store is the return policies much of the time once you purchase items you must deal with the original equipment manufacture if there are issues after 90 days or so. I purchased a ceiling fan almost 6 months ago and it was one of the higher priced fans stocked and it failed, after trouble shooting the problem I found the remote control receiver failed after seeing the receiver was hard wired I knew there would be no simple fix it was going to have to be replaced meaning I would have to deal with the OEM. After returning to the store and discussing the issue with Justin and Sean it seemed there wasn’t going to be an easy solution even though I had my receipt and it was about 3 weeks shy of being 6 month since I made the purchase. Instead of doing what I expected which was them to tell me to call the manufacture they found a exact match to my fan in the box and offered to trade the defective part out problem solved. Even though this wrecked the new fan and they would have to return it to the factory they did the right thing so that’s what I am doing. Thanks guys!

Came here with G’ma and Aunt D for a Christmas tree. Super helpful, large selection and friendly folks. G’ma is happy with her«little» tree. Been here before on other occasions. They have had the obscure UV light I needed when I needed. Wish I had the same customer service down in Miami. In the meantime, I’ll swing in before I head home.

Store Manager, Rob Gross, is horrible at rectifying wrongs. HUGE errors when it came to delivering, installing, and customer service. He tries to use charm and humor to overcome his inadequate management skills.
