Lenny’s Classic Barbershop

I was excited to finally find a place that did straight razor and beards. So I went in and sat down. First thing I notice was the hair everywhere, I mean everywhere. Yes I know it’s a barbershop there is supposed to be hair on the floor. But not from three clients back. There was hair in the chair, on the counters, in the sink infront of me. It was gross. Next I notice the USED desposible razor in the sink infront of me. By this point I’m just trying not to leave. I start looking for any sort of sanitation for combs, clipper guards and such. Nope nothing. Those are just piled on the counter saturated in hiar. So finally the lady asks in loose English what I would like to have done. I tell her «Cesar cut, number two on the sides ½″ on top. Need a beard trim as well, but only take about an inch» after much explenation of my request I think she understood. She takes out the clippers and buzzed the side of my beard. ya two years of growing down the drain. I say «ummm I said an inch» she responded with «ya I think this look beter.» I say «you cut waay to much off!» She responds with «oh its ok, you grow it back and I’ll fix it» no your not touching me again lady. So because I don’t want to leave with half a beard and half a hair cut I tell her to just finish up just don’t take anymore length. What’s she do? Start to buzz the middle. Yaaa no. So I say just even it up. When all is said and done my beard is a good 5 inches shorter and she goes to put something warm on my neck. I look over and she is coming at me with one of those filthy desposible razors! I stop her tell her I’m done and want to leave. She cleans me up and goes to get my jacket and hat and can’t find it. I look over its tucked in the corner covered with hair. I think it’s safe to say I will not ever be going there again. If you would like an actual BARBER who knows what they are doing, you won’t iether.

Great friendly place to get a hair cut! They offer a military discount that can’t be beat! I will not go anywhere else! It’s the best in town.

Lenny is the best. Since moving to the area and needing a Barber for our son, we stumbled across Lenny’s shop. What a great, comfortable little shop! We will never take him anywhere else.
