Stopped in for dinner with my wife and kids. Unfortunately, we never even got to taste the food since they are the only restaurant in town without a highchair, so we couldn’t stay. Oddly, the rest of the tables and chairs were just patio furniture. Very disappointing, I wanted to try this place. We ended up going to La Paisita on Cashmere instead.

Best empanadas around. Never a bad meal was had in this place. Don’t be discouraged that there is no sign, they are expanding to add seating nextdoor.

First of all don’t dismiss this place because on how small it is! People who work there are definitely great at compensating with outstanding personable service! My husband and I got to try our meals there on one of the Sunday’s afternoon and it was very tasty and well cooked chicken and beef. Their sweet arepas are so good! The menus are both in English and Spanish. They want you to like their place and very genuine about it. Looking forward to coming back to them!

Tiny place in one of the many strip malls on the west side of this stretch of Bayshore. Almost nobody eats in – hardly any seating — but I did and the bandeja paisa, as good as I’ve had in northern South Florida, was on a plate with stainless rather than plastic flatware. Good service though they were very busy at Sunday lunchtime, no problems with my lack of Spanish. Seems more geared to baked goods but they do have a menu of entrees posted. A bit out of the way for me but I’d be a regular if it were close by.

tiny café in a quiet plaza. very friendly people-she gave me a pandebono(columbian cheese rolls) since it was my first time there. it is one of their best sellers and it was indeed cheesy, chewy, and yummy. got the tres leche cake-creamy, fluffy, and sweet. arepas with cheese was a little weird. I remember getting arepas in california that were soft pillows of sweet corn bread filled with cheese or meat in a mini burger form. arepas here were thick and hard and was like a pancake topped with cheese. it was super dense and filling… probably wont be getting the arepas anymore, but they have a lot of other food items like tamales, soups, meats, etc. will definitely come back to try other stuff!

This place is a hidden gem. My roommate went to this place everyday and so I had to try it. They have fresh baked goods everyday(breads, pastries, etc.)… and they are so cheap and amazing! Their meals are priced cheaply and are great! I don’t have anything negative to say about this place. I love the chicken, plantains, rice, arepas, everything is great. Try this place! It’s located in a plaza.
