Bass Pro Shops

Once you’ve been to one Bass Pro Shops, I feel like you’ve been to them all. This one recently opened in my hometown of Port St. Lucie, aka nothingville. I found it really odd to have placed an outdoor store here of all locations, and can only assume its location right off I-​95 to the reason. That way all the Vero Beach/​Ft. Pierce and Stuart/​Okeechobee peeps can get to it fairly easily.
The store was clean, employees were friendly, everything was organized. That have your standard camo and sportswear type apparel, guns, knives, camping and fishing needs, along with boats and kayaks and anything else outdoorsy you can imagine. Oh, and the cool Bass tank. This one was particularly appealing with seating and a pretty mural behind it. Very tranquil.
Thought I’d add a little gem. A friend I went to high school with, failing to ever leave this nothing of a town, posted on facebook right before this store opened, «They’re building a Bass Pro in PSL. FINALLY a place to meet guys!» and I laughed because I thought she was joking. Fast forward to Christmas break and I’m visiting and we happen to stop in to blow some gift cards on a Friday night and apparently this really is a spot that women dress up to go to to pick up men. FOR REALS. Women hanging out at the gun counter in their short shorts. Smh. I’ve seen it all.
