When last in Port Townsend, I rode back to SEATAC with Bob, the president of the aforementioned company. He’s a character in the the true Alaskan tradition and was heading out to Guatamala to talk about electrifying villages there. (Or some such… I can’t remember the specifics.)
Anyway…should you be from Haines, Delta Junction or any other small town inside Alaska, you’ve probably met Bob. Makes you feel good to know that a current-​day power company (pardon the pun) has an approachable personage at its helm. Oh, BTW… ask him about his wife’s Chinese Crested dog! Its a small world…
