Came here for a relaxing weekend and spotted this little gem. Salt water baths fill a stainless steel and copper tub with stone floors and wall shower all in one. A relaxing soothing soak before a one hour massage.

Peaceful. Relaxing. Everything is so high quality and locally sourced!!! Even the towel hooks have local rocks! Such a pleasure to be in the space. Plus gorgeous copper tubs and salt water it’s like omg!!! Highly recommend taking a soak here. You will come out a different person than when you went in.

I booked an 50 minute soak in a private tub and a 90 minute massage today at Soak on the Sound. The entire experience was wonderful. The tubs are a beautiful copper and stone design and the temperature is hot but not extremely hot — you can sit and soak up all of the health benefits of the salt water without feeling overcooked or light headed. Everything about this bathhouse is beautiful. You can tell that much thought went into the design and décor of this relaxing environment. The staff that helped me make my appointment and then checked me in two days later were both very nice and helpful people. My massage therapist was amazing. I typically get a massage every 4 to 6 weeks so I have a fair amount of experience with body work — she was a very good massage therapist. I felt like the experience was well worth the cost and I hope Soak on the Sound has a long and successful life in Port Townsend!

My husband and I decided on a whim to try a soak and massage at Soak on the Sound. It was one of the best decisions we made on this vacation. We first soaked in a private tub for about an hour. Very clean and reasonable price ! Water was hot and the privacy really made us feel comfortable. The massages were exactly what we needed. Each massage was professional and social able. My husbands exact words at the end were«I feel like a wet noodle». Each masseuse had her own room with heated tables and catered specifically to your problems areas. It was an overall great experience but more so than anything it was relaxing !

I’m sorry it took me so long to write this review. We have used the private room at soak on the sound three times. Every time we loved it… We realized that we had not posted a review because we hoped that not too many people knew about it… Let me say, it is well worth the money, it is amazing and I feel selfish for not letting more people know about. If you need to sleep. if you need to relax, if you want to be extremely thoughtful and tender with your significant other, you should try it out.

This was my first visit to soak and port Townsend. First what a cute little town to explore in. My husband and I did the private tub. It was warm and the room is light and airy. It is a large copper tub filled with salt water. Their is a shower with soap and conditioner in the private room. They have glasses so you can have cucumber water to sip while soaking. Plus treats you can buy and nibble on. I have been to a few others like this in other places and I will definitely visit again. Maybe check out their steam room and a massage. If you are looking for fifty minutes to just escape and relax this is perfect.

LOVE Soak! We happened across the location our last day in town, and really wish we found you sooner. But WOW! Such a brilliant want to bring a wonderful vacation to a close. My husband and I are really looking forward to the next time we’re in town to have an afternoon of relaxing. Thank you, Cindy, for your wonderful service and beautiful nature!

I visited with two friends on a cold blustery winter day not knowing what to expect. We chose to use the public hot tub which included a small private changing area, non-private shower, and sauna. We were very pleasantly surprised by the décor, ambiance, cleanliness, and friendly staff. We were lucky to be alone as I’ve been told they can be quite busy. The common tub area is clothing optional so if you’re not comfortable, opt for a private tub. After about 2 hours of soaking, saunaing, and quick cool offs in the shower, we felt totally rejuvenated. The price was a great value and we’ll definitely be back.

This place is an absolute gem! Gorgeous! My experience there was lovely on every count. The staff was accommodating and gracious, the tubs and soaking environment were so beautiful and deeply serene. I am so glad I took the time to soak at Soak this evening– I left feeling rejuvenated and nurtured by my whole experience there. What a blessing, to the local community and visitors alike! I recommend Soak on the Sound«to the moon and back»… Check it out if you get the chance. Wow. And Yum. :)

I visited Soak on the Sound just last weekend and I really enjoyed it. The staff was accommodating and I felt very pampered. I enjoyed the intimate nature of the rooms and overall décor was peaceful and calm. I took advantage of all the offerings with a 40 minute soak/20 minute sauna /1 hour massage(Jenn) was awesome and helped smooth out the kinks in my neck(I was really in a lot of pain). The cost was inexpensive for the all that you get and I can’t thank you enough for that! For me, it’s worth the drive to Pt. Townsend for a day just to do another session at Soak. I hope to bring some friends next time too!

Soak on the Sound is a new business offering soaks in hot saltwater baths. You can soak privately or with friends. Each room has a shower for pre-soak showering, as well as cooling down during the session if you get too warm. Massage and sauna are available, though I did not try those. The décor is peaceful and relaxing, and the tubs are gorgeous. The water is kept at about 104 degrees — there are no jets, but I don’t care for those anyway. At the end of my 50-minute soak, I was ready for my nap! It was just what I needed to let go of my cares. Since I live in Port Townsend, I plan to enjoy regular visits.
