This is a fun retro experience if you live on or are visiting the Olympic Peninsula and need something to do on a summer Wednesday, Thursday, or Sunday night. Service was very friendly, and there’s plenty of space to pick your spot. They do accept credit cards and the snack bar was pretty clean. Our popcorn may have been a bit stale and burnt… Bummer they didn’t open on time(posted time is 7 pm, they started letting people in around 7:30) or start the movie on time(also about 30 – 45 minutes late). Since we had to work in the morning and drive back to North Kitsap, we didn’t get to stay for the double feature.

Was just here for the labor day triple feature, $ 9 for 3 movies, can’t beat that. The place is pretty awesome but loses a pair of stars for bathrooms that leave a few things to be desired. 1 tiny stall in the men’s room(without a lock) and a «urinal trough». In the ladies room they have 3 stalls, 1 was out of service and another was running continually per my wife’s report — oh, and no locks on the ladies stalls either. I realize this theater is old but the bathrooms are have a borderline third-world quality to them. Clearly these guys haven’t heard of the ADA(or they just don’t care) — the bathrooms are not wheelchair accessible.

The facility is nice, but the owner is not a nice man. Yelling at people and being rude. Too bad it’s the only one in the area. The Bremerton one is worth the trip and nice people!

Loved it! Great snack bar, with the usual suspects(candy, popcorn, sodas), plus a grill and freshly-made pizzas. Very friendly service; clean, indoor bathrooms. Good view of the screen from any location.(The location is awesome: surrounded by huge trees!) They play the soundtrack on an FM station, so you can watch from inside your car if it’s too cold – like last night – or too mosquito-y, like last summer. Went with my sister last night, and remembered when we were little and went with our parents to the drive-in in Boulder, Colorado, where we would hunker down in the compartment behind the back seats in our VW Bug, and fall asleep. Watched the crescent moon slowly descend behind the screen as we alternately laughed hysterically and cringed while watching«Bridesmaids.» Looking forward to more Summer nights at the drive-in!

Place is awesome!!! Perfect for parents who wanna take younger kids to the movies. The kids run around for a while in the field under the screen the pass out by the time the movie begins. Mom and Dad get to enjoy the movie quietly. Perfect!!!
