So what’s to say about a chain fro-​yo place? In general, this place is clean and services is friendly. 16 Handles has a good variety of flavors and toppings. Can’t really go wrong here.

Worst 16 handles I’ve been too. So disappointed was looking forward to my pick me up… No Nutella flavored yogurt. No syrup or gummy bears. Wasn’t even nice when asked if they had.

I’ve tried a lot of places like 16 handles but this place is top notch as far as flavor, toppings selections and the friendliness of the people who work. I’m totally addicted. I’m here 3 – 4 times a week. and on my birthday, It was free

Finding vegan desserts isn’t easy. Their key lime sorbet and mango sorbet are fantastic! I have to admit, the key lime is my new favorite, with its perfect tanginess. Couldn’t resist topping my sorbet with blackberries. Mmmmmmm! Happy spring!

I love 16 handles! And this location is great, the employees are very friendly and always try to make sure your satisfied. The location is very clean and there’s a large parking lot in the back for the shopping complex. This location does have room for you sit down and enjoy your yogurt

I was pleasantly surprised! I’m a TCBY kind of person, and I had a froyo craving. My grandma suggested 16 Handles, so we gave it a shot.
The décor is what I consider «typical froyo” – modern and sleek. The yogurt flavors were displayed on little screens above the handles, which I wasn’t overly fond of, considering the nutrition was there too, and seemed less healthy than TCBY (we’re talking saturated fats here).
The froyo was good, but not great. It was really creamy and just didn’t feel like froyo, it felt like froyo trying to be ice cream or something. Eh. The red velvet was pretty good. Toppings were alright, although some of my favorites were missing, and they didn’t have the hot fudge/​caramel toppings I so love.
Service was good, although I don’t understand why each cup has to be measured one at a time. Everywhere else I’ve been, you put the cups on the scale, and done. Here, it was one cup, weigh, next, weigh, next, weigh – it just seemed counterproductive and unnecessary. Oh well.
16 Handles is probably the best froyo in the Port Washington area, but there’s a TCBY in Garden City… yum…

Finally, 16 Handles opened its doors in Port Washington after months of teasing with the signs. A frozen yogurt heaven where creativity can equal countless possibilities and one may never be bored.
With ample seating space in the front and a few tables towards the back entrance, mixed with the signature lime-​green décor, 16 Handles offers (addicting) different flavors on any given day along with topping varieties, such as fruits, cheesecake, cookie dough and brownie bites, not to mention rainbow cookies (and a lot more to list) and assorted sauces to cover the unique creations.
The staff is very friendly, helpful, and quite active in not only helping customers but also keeping the place spotless.
Overall, a frozen delight not to be missed in a great environment… My favorite flavors are the red velvet, go bananas, cookie & crème, along with lychee, cheesecake and cookie dough bites…
*** On a side note, i first visited the 16 Handles location out in Syosset and found myself addicted to the frozen yogurt Heaven, and now to have it in the same town, i feel my 180+ pound wt. loss may be in danger… lol, but so worth it…***
