I’m not sure if the lady at the register can’t hear or doesn’t care. Ordered a club with no bacon, got bacon. Ordered a plain kids ham and cheese. It came grilled. Strange. A bit overpriced for a deli in my opinion but it wasn’t the worst.

A good place to grab a sandwich. No complaints. Definitely fresh ingredients. But at the same time, I wasn’t blown away with my sandwich. I got their club. Next time, I’d probably have them grill my sandwich. Or, try something on their grilled sandwich menu. The staff was very friendly and patient. We were first timers there and they answered our questions.

Got the Big a Bite which is roast beef, lettuce, Swiss, horseradish mayo. It was average and could have used more mayo as I didn’t taste any horseradish flavor. Might go back, might not. Really nothing special.

Way over priced for a deli. I guess you’re paying for the view which is beautiful! Really disappointed!

The view was nice, the place was cute and clean. The food was ok. Ordered the turkey with harvatti and dill mayo. It just came with one thin price of lettuce and a heap of turkey and the cheese. The turkey seemed low end and the pickle was terrible… no chips or cole slaw. My bill was over $ 10.00 for the sandwich and a soda. Service was friendly but slow. The deserts looked yummy, perhaps that is what I should have ordered. On the bright side, I loved spending time with my friends!

Dockside deli is in a convenient location with beautiful views, but as a vegetarian the options are extremely limited. The veggie quesadilla is good, the garden patch is nothing to write home about, same goes for the grilled cheese. The soups that would appear veggie are actually made with chicken or beef stock which defeats the purpose and the pasta salad has meat too. If you’re not a fellow vegetarian this place has many different options and the sandwiches I’ve seen do look appealing. Better veggie eats can be found near by at the Daily Baking Co or Baltica tea.

So I was in Port Washington for work, and noticed this little deli sitting in a strip mall right off the marina. The location could not be anymore picturesque. The interior is simple, pretty much exactly what you’d expect a deli to look like. The seating is good for singles and small groups. They’re also seemed to be a basement area, but I have yet to explore it. The food was top notch. I’ve had a few sandwiches from there of the Italian heavy on the meat variety, and they’ve all been delicious. They’re are plenty of sides(pasta, potato and another type of salad I’ve forgotten) and little snacks and desserts to go with your meal. The staff is friendly and respectful, and your food comes fast. This place is quickly becoming my go to lunch spot when in Port Washington.

This location is perfect for the view and patio. They have quite a variety of hot, cold, and grilled sandwiches along with soups and ice cream. The sourdough bread was really impressive. The turkey was good(and there was a generous portion) but the sandwich lacked anything else interesting. My sister was very happy with the chicken salad and my mother with her club sandwich(looked the best of the bunch.)

Unfortunately, the quality of the food has been dropping here to the point it’s not at all worth the prices charged. Today I had a egg salad sandwich that was by far more bread than egg salad. I would say it contained the equivalent of one large egg. Rather pathetic.

Good soup and sandwich. This is a low key place to have lunch. I was just what I was expecting. I plan on returning.

Below average. I got the American club. The sandwich was large but comprised of low quality ingredients. The bread was low quality white that crumbled in my hand. The pickle spears were two thin circular slices of pickle. The soup was mediocre and not worth the $ 2.99. Everything inside was cheap. I’m genuinely confused by all the high reviews.

Five us stopped in ten minutes before closing and ended up leaving because we flustered the staff so much. They stopped taking our order to lock the doors to keep any more customers from coming in. It felt hostile so we left. My advice is to stay away if it’s after two pm.

This place is great! It is located in the heart of downtown Port Washington and sits right on the lake. Easy to walk/bike to from any area, and the porch view is beautiful. The food is delicious and the staff is very friendly! As a local, I come here for lunch occasionally and have always had an outstanding experience. Highly recommend for locals and tourists alike!

This place rocks! My wife and I very much enjoy the menu variety and high quality food. Out of the MANY times visiting this deli we never have had a complaint. Ticket times are fast. Staff is always friendly, restrooms and dining rooms are clean and orderly. The location is great… nothing better than enjoying a great sandwich over looking the harbor. Port Washington has a real gem with this deli. Keep up the Great work!

I absolutely love this place when I just want a really good sandwich. I order the Sammich, but have them grill it. Super yummy.

Why do I come to Dock Side Deli? Let me count the reasons. In no order of importance. 1. Great assortment of coffees. My favor is macadamia nut chocolate. 2. Great assortment of coffee creamers. My favorite is white chocolate. 3. Big slices of toast. My favorite is raisin toast followed by sour dough. 4. Great red skin potatoes. Made crispy but not burnt. 5. Two eggs over easy made with the whites cooked but with egg yoke fluid. 6. Great pastries like cinnamon rolls, bread pudding, peach bread pudding… 7. Great great atmosphere. In the summer time I sit outside next to the marina. In the winter I sit next to the windows looking out over Lake Michigan. You get to see the joggers, boaters, fish jumping out of the water. 8. And last but not least, great service. I love the people. They take such great care of me when ordering and if I have special needs. Of which based on my comments you may notice that I am a little particular about how my food is prepared. I love this place. Obviously I highly recommend Dock Side Deli. Rick

Had the Italian hero sandwich and everything about it was delicious! The sandwich was large enough that my husband and I were able to share it and a cup of soup and feel full after.

The deli is located next to the marina in Port Washington. They make many of the items that they serve from scratch, including some of the spreads, salads and desserts. Since they do make your sandwich to order, service can be a little slower than most places but you can call your order in for pickup. Service is hit or miss at the counter — nothing to write home about but no one has ever been rude either. Some of the items are so-so but the real standout is one of their specialty sandwiches, the Harbormaster($ 6.25). It has smoked turkey, creamy Havarti cheese, lettuce and homemade dill and shallot mayo on their own sourdough bread. The sandwich is generous and comes with a pickle. I typically eat half and save the other half for dinner or lunch the following day. I have never been disappointed when ordering the Harbormaster. I used to enjoy their New England Clam Chowder on Fridays, however last time I ordered they heated it up in the microwave and the quality was not as high as I had experienced in the past. This is a nice stop in the afternoon for a lunch by the lake. Just make sure you have a little extra time to spare if they are busy.
