I grew up here, and though I thought it was boring when I was younger, I now appreciate the quiet beauty of the town. Whenever I tell someone where I love, they say«oh I love to visit there!». I love living on the water, having picnics on the bluff and walking out to the lighthouse. The police are super diligent, which, for most people, is a plus. I enjoy having strangers give you a smile or a wave when you pass by. And despite what another reviewer said, our High School has some really excellent teachers and technology.

The town is small and pretty typical of the republican mindset middle class America. It has everything you need bars and a church, a police station and more bars. Port Washington High School is filled with yesterdays technology & teaching because after all Port Washington does not want to progress nor grow for a future.
