What a mistake made in stopping here. I live up north where we don’t have Bojangles and a friend of mine is always bugging me to try it. So, here I was and I did. What a bad choice of location. The staff here were uniformly rude. The woman who shoved my food into my car, yes, shoved, was the rudest. The order wasn’r right. When I asked for butter for the dry lump of flour that is their biscuit she put three things of some butter substitute into my hands, two of which were opened and melted non-butter ran all over my hands. So much for drive through convenience. The chicken tenders weren’t. The chicken was dry and stringy as though it was several days old. The spicing was good, this might decent food but what I got was terrible. I recommend avoiding these places. Why take a chance?

So you have your times where you crave some good chicken. Not to mention a good biscuit to match. I have to say by far that Bojangles does just that. I used to think Popeyes was the best place to go for some good chicken but I believe Bojangles poses to be a formidable opponent. Of course, there are a number of significant differences between the two spots. For starters; Bojangles has a breakfast menu AND they serve ALLDAY… just saying The service here is on point! BTW Bojangles, why don’t you guys move further up north? Like in New Jersey for starters

Not replacing my Popeyes anytime soon. Too spicy and the Mac and cheese was tasteless. The fries were not crunchy and the chicken was over seasoned and in could not even eat it. What a waste and we had to stop a few stops down the road to do the bojangles in the bathroom.

I wish there were a Bojangles near metro Atlanta(not all the way in Dawsonville or in south Atlanta), but maybe it’s a good thing there isn’t one so close. While fried chicken and cole slaw probably aren’t the healthiest thing one should eat, it’s still good once in a while. It’s hard to compare their chicken to others, but I do like how you can get a sausage biscuit or a chicken biscuit whenever you want. Everything is fast and tasty, especially the dirty rice. 2 pieces of chicken(leg and thigh), a side, a biscuit and a drink, all for $ 5? YES! This particular location must be a new one because I didn’t see it on the map and just followed signs from 278. Service is always great. Bojangles has become one of my favorite road trip stops with my best friend whenever we go somewhere in the South.
