Excellent corn dogs and chilly dogs and ice cream. I have been going here since high school and the quality stays the same, good enough to keep going back. They have very terrible control of the line outside so if you expect first come first serve you better go through the drive thru.

I’ve only been here twice and after the second time I probably won’t be going back. My boyfriend ordered a banana malt. They asked what kind of ice cream he wanted so he told them vanilla. What he got was a gritty textured and gross looking vanilla malt. He thought maybe it wasn’t mixed well and took another bite after stirring it and no banana flavor. He went to the window and explained that he wanted a banana malt and that what he got wasn’t banana. He was told he could buy another one, but they cant remake him anything because he ate some of it, which he had to eat some to know it wasn’t banana, because their manager will get mad. So he paid for something which wasn’t what he wanted because someone screwed the order up, not good customer service.

My favorite ice cream place around. Prices are great service is great and the ice cream is fantastic.

Oh my wow. Best ice cream ever. To previous reviewer, Ashley K., giving 1 star b/​c of water is just silly. It’s an ice cream joint not a water shop. I had a Hurricane and it was blended perfectly and the variety of mix– ins are plentiful. You can choose from brownie, snickers, Reese’s, caramel, fudge, and so much more. They even have sugar free yogurt if you are on the health conscious side. I love supporting local, family– owned businesses like this. You should go.

Their ice cream can be pretty good, but they have the worst tasting water ever.

My family of 49 found this last night must say that we really enjoy this. Hands-​down better then Dairy Queen I highly highly highly recommend it! you got to try it out worth the wait! The only thing to realize which order baby cone really is meant for a very small child so it’s not a kids Cone it is a baby scope.

This place is like that old fashion ice cream place back in the day. With their swirl ice cream cones and milk shakes that taste like ice cream not just cream. This shop beats any franchised place around town.

Better than DQ in my opinion. Maybe it is because I have so many great childhood memories. My go to is the half and half ice cream cone.
Stop in for some good old soft serve ice cream.

Portage’s own knock off of Dairy Queen and if you ever played for PJM softball you’ve been here at least once in your life. They have way more dessert and ice cream selections then dairy queen including a line of sugar free low fat frozen yogurt options that are delicious. They also serve a variety of hot dog stand like food that is made to order. You can see right into the kitchen and they keep it very clean, and with all the upgrades they’ve made in the past couple of years it’s really become quite a nice place to go for a treat.

This is like a Dairy Queen wannabe but it’s in a class all it’s
own. Does that make sense? Anyway they have some yummy
slushies and their vanilla soft serve is wayyyyy better than
DQ’s. Love it!!!
