They do not take care of their properties like a rental company should… At least not compared to ANY other rental company I’ve dealt with in the last 7 years. Our property was not properly cleaned prior to moving in, but they will be deducting a ‘$ 300 cleaning fee’ when we move out. More importantly, we have had an issue(our basement leaks behind an electrical panel when it rains) since the day we moved in back in June,(first work order in on July 1st) and it’s just now being fixed(November 1st). They started to fix it in September but only made it halfway through the job. It was only after I finally threatened to take legal action against them that they decide to show up, unannounced, to fix it… But it turns out they didn’t have the proper equipment to do so, so again, it’s not fixed. It may not be all the company’s fault as the responsibility does lie with the maintenance crew, but to have to ask for 5 months to have a serious issue be resolved is ridiculous. While I appreciate their constant contact throughout the issue, it took entirely too long to fix.
