By far the best hobby shop around. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and always happy to help. They have a ton of inventory and three outdoor tracks to drive on. This is an adult mans dream, well at least a G rated one. I would love to spend every weekend and paycheck here!

This place has a lot to choose from, with that being said, the customer service is HORRIBLE. I have experienced this more than once, if they are at the counter, it is a hassle to help if you are waiting at the counter (and waiting) they act put out when they have to finally help. The teenagers do not know anything, and the «knowledgeable» will not help without acting put out. They offer service to repair R/C, a friend of mine brought his truck up and offered plenty of time and money because he was leaving town. The «expert» said he didn’t feel like doing it. He literally said I can fix it but I do not feel like it. The only reason this place stays in business is because of the track and there are no other businesses like this around. The trek to Larry’s is worth not going here or ordering on line.

This is a great store with a TON of product. When we visited, we experienced staff that were very friendly and knowledgeable about the product they carry. I would highly recommend a visit to Mike’s Hobby Shop if you are into trains, planes or cars.
Mikes Hobby Shop and Gulf Coast Raceway have a pretty sweet setup of RC tracks for on road track and an off road track as well.
