Horrible environment. Always crowded and filled with loud and rude people, employees are equally as bad, and look miserable. I cant stress enough how bad the grocery section is. Hardly any frozen/​fresh foods to choose from!!! if you are lucky there will be maybe 2 different stouffers to choose from, and thats it. Whole store is just plain dirty, and not worth visiting unless you need something no other store carries.

Why do the people of porterville spend their hard earned money on this place? 99 percent of the employees are rude and seem very happy. Wal mart porterville will never see a dime of mine. Food 4 less and town and country is where I will go.

Horrible service, long lines!!! Only one or two registers open even there are long lines. Low prices doesn’t compensate for the bad costumer service.

Workers never really care about the customers. You’re more of a pain if you’re in their way. I never see a smile on their face when I make eye contact with any of them. Sad…

Shortly after going inside and walking down the aisles looking for a toilet seat for my parents’ house, an employee came up and asked if I needed help. I asked him for toilet seats, and with a smilie and genuine concern he offered to walk me over and show me where it was.
At check out up front, he happened to be going on break and buying a snack behind me. I didn’t see him until I turned around to make sure I got all my bags, and he yelled excitedly after me «I hope you have a great day! Bye!»
That was really great service. I wish I had looked at his name tag-​he deserves Employee of the Month!

what can you really say about Walmart, I guess it could be overrated. I’ve learned the hard way don’t come here on Saturday or Sunday it just smells really bad like arm pits and bad B.O. They always have low prices and big selection of things. I usually buy stuff online and get it sent to the store when I’m looking for something that they don’t have on the floor.

Just like your every other Walmarts
Ever since moving out from mom to So-​cal anything here doesn’t seam busy or as long anymore. I wish all the lines and how less crowed it is here can be down south. Service is about the same. Well the fact down south is 24⁄7 makes them both the balance the outs from the short lines crowded halls.
