If the first crew hadn’t been so nice to our daughter and willing to go the extra mile, I would only give one star. Here is our experience: When scheduling the appointment, my husband was told that the job had to be started at 10AM. We were unable to make it any later as they were coming from Portland. They were an hour and 15 minutes late(yes they called at 10:11AM letting us know they were just leaving Hillsboro). They did not even apologize for being late. We had to talk them into taking more than one item. We were told that the large stereo console was the size that we paid for. They did agree to also take an area rug that was rolled up outside, as well as a twin mattress. There were a couple of regular trash sized bags of garbage, as well as a small area rug out there, and they would not take those. Definitely not worth the money, and this was half price. Oh, they would have taken more if we had been willing to pay for it. I remember thinking what a great deal this is because I remember the groupon stated that the deal was for two guys and two hours(didn’t it?). It took them less than 10 minutes! How would it ever take two guys two hours to remove one item? If I find that I am mistaken on this, I will correct this review. Since we got the deal through Groupon, I have notified them, and will keep you posted as to the outcome. It states on their website that they«want to make it right».

Since I’m finally a grown-up, I decided it was time to get rid of my old thrift store couches and upgrade to a real«adult» couch. I didn’t want to burden my friends or family with taking me to the dump, so I called Junkway. They were friendly on the phone, showed up when they said they would, and hauled away my old junky couches quickly and with ease. Plus, if you mention their coupon, they take 20 dollars off the quoted price.
