These guys are legit. Fantastic instructors, great training partners, overall exceptional BJJ. Nathan, Phill, Matt and the rest of the crew are clear and concise with their instruction, breaking technique down in a way that allows you to logically and easily put it into your game. It is a great culture of people committed to elevating the art of jiu jitsu. I make the 3 hour drive from Seattle every month just to work these guys.

This gym is my home away from home! I moved to Portland and immediately was welcomed with open arms. The instructors and regulars quickly became a second family to me. A safe environment to grow as a human in the art of Jiu Jitsu. One of the best Friday open mats in Portland.

Nathan Orchard and Phil Schwartz are excellent teachers in any environment and this new location is shaping up to be an amazing oasis of 10th Planet awesomeness. The gang is friendly here and pretty diverse as well with many female practitioners. They offer yoga classes and I think they will be adding kickboxing, fitness and more in the next few moths as they finish the new space.
Really the thing I like most is that Nate and Phil and just great guys and so good at Jiu Jitsu, Portland is lucky to have a good school like this teaching solid BJJ and the 10th Planet system.
