Ordered a sheet cake from the Albertson’s Bakery on NE181 and Glisan Streets in Portland. Ordered the cake(on line) a week in advance. Asked in the notes if the cake could be ready at 7:30 am rather than at 8 am and asked them to call me if that would be a problem. Cake was not ready at 7:30 am. No one called me to say it would not be ready at 7:30 am. Cake was ok. Cake actually tasted much better one or even two days later. I don’t know what explains that except perhaps that it has time to sort of like«flavor thru»??? Seriously consider picking up the cake the day before you plan to eat it!
