All’s Well That Ends Well

I should of done this when I got my 6 sessions 2 years ago. Since I have moved out the Portland area I have done a closed colonic system, which I did not like at all. The open system at Alls Well That Ends Well is right up my alley, (no pun intended). The staff at Alls well are friendly and knowledgeable and they made me feel comfortable. For me the setting in the room along with the soft music allowed me to meditate during my session which allowed me to fully get in tune with myself. Thanks Alls Well That Ends Well team you are great!

«Well, all’s well that ends well!»
This idiom usually pops up after some sort unplanned glitch or disastrous process which eventually reaches the desired results. Like that time when you forgot to wear pants to school but your friend brought an extra pair that fits just right, therefore saving you from utter embarrassment (or was that just a dream I had?). Or that time when the US lost to Germany but still made it to the knockout round of the World Cup. Hey! All’s well that ends well, right? Right.
Here it has a bit of a different meaning. A little tongue and cheek, so to speak. A play on words… Why am I balking here? Because it’s not super easy to talk about things like colonics. A ‘colonic’ (which I believe comes from the latin term that means: «whoa, wrong end!») is sort of like a soak and rinse cycle for the colon. And if you don’t believe the health of your large intestine is important to your overall well being, well, you’re probably just reading this review for a laugh or to compile blackmail material against me.
Anyway, as uneasy as it makes me to reminisce about these types of experiences (especially in public), I find them to be fairly crucial to any good cleanse/​detox. Sure, it’s not the most enjoyable way to spend an hour of your time: splayed out on a plastic bench shaped like a Sealy Adjustable Posturepedic, a plastic tube connected to your outbound lane, and a steady flow of soaking-​pool-​temperature water coursing through your colon. But man, the results can be pretty awesome.
I’ll tell you a secret. While I’m not a serial flusher, this is not the first colonic I’ve ever had. It’s the second. So I can’t make a ton of comparisons. But the service here was plenty good. They take what could and should be a pretty uncomfortable situation and make it… well… let’s say as comfortable as it’s going to get. They talk you through it, explain every step, and create a feeling of ease. And then they turn the water on.
Look I won’t get in to the details of the process itself, suffice to say that the hour does go by quickly enough. It’s not necessarily cheap, but what medical process is these days? And heck, when was the last time you gave your colon a nice gift?
Wait, don’t answer that. I don’t want to know.

I have had my experience with all the friendly clinicians. They are educated, professional and respectful. You are made very comfortable and feel safe. These folks really know what they are doing. What I like most of all is that you are made to feel right at home with dignity.
As far as colonic procedures, I believe they improve my health over all. Not to mention how much better I feel for several days after!

A big 2 thumbs up for All’s Well PDX. I just started using ‘em, and within a span of just 6 weeks had 5 colonics with them. I worked with 2 of their 3 hydrotherapists, and they both were extremely professional, knowledgeable, disarming, and accommodating. (I mean, how often do you find yourself in a situation where you’re freely expelling waste from your crotch, in all forms nonetheless, in front of a complete stranger — and feel completely comfortable with it?) … Whether you’ve done colonics before, or are a newbie, have no reservations about All’s Well — they’ll take care of ya.
