Great crew, exceptional work, speedy turnaround & fair pricing. Hired based on Unilocal reviews and, like everyone else here, I can’t recommend them enough. Anthony & co. turned my sad basement dungeon into a proper den, working around weird features like curving exposed ventilation shafts and a partially recessed fireplace like it was no big deal. Drywalling is kind of like getting facial surgery, in that you’re going to live with the results for a while & only want to hire someone who knows what they’re doing. These guys won’t disappoint.

I can report that Erica H was exactly right. I’d been procrastinating getting a water-​damaged ceiling repaired in part because the process of finding a contractor is onerous. I read Erica’s review and contacted Anthony, who asked me to text him a photo of the damage. Anthony then named a time for his guys to show up (a couple days later), and — to cut this story short– two guys did the job in about 4 hours. I’m completely satisfied. Professional, neat, competent, everything you really REALLY hope. Here’s the kicker, though: I forgot to ask for an estimate! Biting my nails I waited for Anthony’s bill… And it was $ 600. My husband was predicting $ 1K, so I peace reigns in my home. I’m giving Anthony & Alternative Drywall two thumbs up with gratitude.

Can’t recommend these guys enough. Had plenty of bad experiences with home improvement contractors in the past. Anthony and his crew were friendly, affordable, reliable, on time, and responsive (love contractors who use email/​texts vs. phone tag). They did a great job and bid included primer coat, so we were ready to paint and move back in immediately.
