Am Pm

It’s rare that I actually bother to leave a review for anywhere, much less an anonymous little gas station. However, it’s also rare that I get charged a 23% surcharge to use a credit card to purchase… anything. I asked the clerk if my amex was the problem (sometimes it is for small businesses because of the fees). He was polite and said no, it’s a dollar surcharge no matter the purchase amount and no matter the card. So I paid a full dollar surcharge to use my credit card on a 4.50 purchase.
Guess where this guy will never patronize again? Now on to Unilocal and anywhere else that matters.
I guess the con artists that run this dump know that most of their business is transient and no one bothers to look up Unilocal reviews for a hole like this…

$ 1 fee to use your credit card. ONE WHOLE DOLLAR.
Nope. That’s just too much.
The service is pretty friendly and decently quick but…
ONE WHOLE DOLLAR just to buy gas here with a credit card.
Sigh.
Make sure you debit… or cash I suppose.

Nothing bad about this place. It is considerably cheaper gas here, they are advertising top their gas now which is always nice. With a fill up of 10 or more gallons you get a free drink. Always has an open station. The workers were funny and friendly.

I go to this station a lot. The current owner or manager is doing a good job turning the business around.
Past problems have mostly been resolved. They had station attendants that were less than professional. One has been there for a long time and he is great.
One review was from someone with a complaint that he had to pay inside. I have trouble paying cash at a station at the pump. I am sure they exist but get out and walk in. Big deal.

I would rather pump my own gas as I think that would be better than dealing with the service guy who is always here evenings…

Really please with the customer service I just received. I just moved in right next to this place so after I got off from a long day/​night from working as a server I stopped here to get gas & I accidentally paid the man at the desk $ 57 instead of $ 37 & the gentleman came out to my car before I drove away and returned my $ 20. May not be much but I definitely would have noticed it was missing. Thanks again!

May be the worst experience at a gas station yet. Surly attendant, no credit, pay inside. Did I mention the obnoxious attendant?

I have been here 4 times, or so.
Why put in a review of a GAS STATION? They have an awesome collection of MAPS, that is why. And any place with a good selection of maps? Deserves a thumbs up!
Easy to get to right off the Sunset — Hwy 26. The maps are on the right when you enter the «store».
The rest of the place is what you’d expect from an AM/​PM gas station. Gas, sodas, chips. Nice enough people, I guess… don’t remember them being a negative experience, in any event.
