Ants and Bugs be Gone Pest Control

Might be great, but I wouldn’t know. I called, emailed, many times… Never heard from them. I can only guess why, maybe they might have gone out of business, as the phone number they have listed didn’t have a business message. I went with Pete’s Pest Control (and would again) after waiting over a week for Ants and Bugs be Gone pest control, Pete’s answered the phone and emailed me when I needed info and scheduling which is a great way to do business.

Ants and Bugs Be Gone and Chris helped came out a year ago, last spring for a sugar ant outbreak. I was VERY pleased with their response (almost immediately after I left a voicemail) and with the service we received. This past fall we had a recurrance of the sugar ant problem, which I wasn’t surprised by. However, I was surprised that when I repeatedly called Chris and Ants and Bugs Be Gone, I never got a return call. I wasn’t calling to complain but, I was simply trying to schedule another treatment for the sugar ants. I called three times and left voicemails each time. The fourth time I called I told them I was very disappointed that no one had bothered to return my call. Maybe they have so much business they don’t need my little ant problem. That’s a shame because I was ready to hire them for a monthly service spraying for all pests.
Overall, nice guys, terrible, TERRIBLE customer service. I’ve taken my business elsewhere.

Ants and Bugs be Gone is professional, reasonably priced, and respectful of time. I have cats and sometimes their food ends up in the most unexpected places. The ants always seem to find it before I do. Before Ants and Bugs be Gone came into the picture way too many evenings were spent with the hose attached to the vacuum, tube of caulk and a bottle of wine dealing with the nasty buggers. In came Chris along with the return of my sanity, and I no longer have fear of becoming an alcoholic. Did I mention he is timely? If your appointment is at 11:30 he will be at your home exactly at 11:30. This is incredible and rare these days, to have someone actually be on time. I highly recommend Ants and Bugs be Gone if you want your ants and bugs to be gone.

Chris was awesome from the start. He was really quick to get back to me, really honest about cost, and very knowledgeable. He explained everything to me when he came out and quickly destroyed my ant nemeses. They haven’t returned — they know better! I highly recommend Chris should the ants decide to go to your house.

When I found several outbreaks of sugar ants I called immediately. Chris was great and accommodating on convenient time, he was thorough and also provided good education.
I did have outbreak post recent snow storm and he not only returned to resolve (within initial cost) but also promised to check back in a few weeks to ensure resolved.

When I found out my parents home had an insane ant infestation, I knew I had to get them help so I began my search for a competent and fair ant removal team/​company. Well, I had no idea that there are so many options to choose from when it comes to ant removal specialists! After three weeks of research comparing price/​time/​and guarantee of ant removal services from a variety of companies in the area, I settled on Ants and Bugs be Gone for the following reasons:
1) Friendliness: When I called to ask questions and set up an appointment, Chris was very nice over the phone and actually took time to explain to me his removal process and the treatments he would use on the house. Other companies pressured me to make an appointment first before talking to me about their process
2) Scheduling: The company is close to my parents home & he was willing to come out on a weekend day * In my search, I didn’t find any other places that were willing to make a weekend appointment
3) Warranty: Chris offered a three month warranty on his services. This is awesome.
4) Fairness: Sometimes when you’re not an expert at something you feel like you may be taken advantage of for your ignorance. Not with Chris! Chris is an expert and was honest with me about the time it would take to clear the ant infestation. He even offered to come back and do a second treatment free of charge if the ant population wasn’t controlled in the time frame he expected.
5) Professionalism: I always exercise caution when letting other people into my home. Chris was very professional and balanced being friendly with getting the job done within the time frame he told me. I’ve worked with several construction folks before and it’s always awkward when someone is in your house to do a job and they come off as creepy or as slackers. Chris is definitely a «stand up guy» like the other reviewer stated.
We will be calling on Ants Be Gone for our ant removal services from now on. I recommend that anyone with an ant/​pest problem give them a try. Great work at a great price! You won’t regret it!

Great company to work with. I called late on a Thursday after another company I had scheduled to come out, flaked on me. Chris answered the phone and took the time to really explain the treatment process and how ants work. Really appreciated it. He came out on Saturday. Ended up coming earlier than scheduled (called first to make sure it worked ok) which worked even better for me and I greatly appreciated it. Very nice guy, very patient with all my questions. Highly recommend!

Pest control services is not the only thing Ants and Bugs Be Gone is known for. Extermination for good is more like it. Chris Nelson is a stand up guy who is driven for customer satisfaction through quality workmanship. In working with Chris, I have come to know that he is very good at walking a person through the process. Understanding is half the battle. Keep up the great work!

These guys are great! They answered our questions on tbe phone politely and patiently. Then came out Sunday to do the work!!! Great explanation of the process and how long it would take before the ants started dying. Highly recommended. Really nice people.
