Joe did a great job removing a bamboo grove and building a nice looking fence. Reasonable price and when a couple of bamboo shoots reared their ugly heads post-​removal, Joe sent his guys over ASAP as promised to remove them. Planning on using Joe again for construction of another fence along the other side of our house.

We were really excited to work with Bamboo Grove for our landscaping needs. We had come up with a contract and wanted to make a few changes, nothing unrealistic at all (not paying ½ up front and adding a 2 year warranty to the irrigation system), which Joe initially said was not a problem. Then after over a week of not responding, he sends an e-​mail saying that his company is «not a good fit.» Wasted a lot of our time and energy. Very unprofessional.

Joe and crew conducted the following services. His bid was very competitive with another landscaper and lower than two others. I selected him as he seemed the most trustworthy of the bunch.
Removed 10′ x 6′ bamboo stand with walk behind excavator
Backfilled with approximately 1.5 yards soil blend
Installed 6″ X 18″ sand trap along property line
Installed 10′ 6′ fence section with cedar boards
Used hedge trimmer to prune Holly back to 20ft
Removed Arbor Vitae with chainsaw
Installed 4 Italian Cypress trees
Pruned Rhododendron
Installed 1 (24 gallon) Sango Kaku
Installed 1 (24 gallon) Acer Palmatum ‘Burgandy Lace’
Moved and replace boulders

I hired Bamboo Grove in the spring of 2011 for weekly landscape maintenance (including pruning, invasive species control, new plantings, and pretty much anything else that I need worked on by professionals on our 3-​acre lot in the SW Hills). I’ve been very impressed with Joe and his team; they are reliable, responsible, hardworking and pro-​active, and have made our gardens and the surrounding landscape look fantastic for what I think is a reasonable price. I highly recommend Bamboo Grove without qualification.
