I cannot say enough about Becca! She took our engagement photos, as well as our wedding. She was incredibly professional, while personable. She immediately understood our style and aesthetic. We fell in love with our engagement pictures, and love our wedding pics even more! Looking at them now, We feel like we’re experiencing the whole day over again, and it’s absolutely perfect. I recently hired Becca for a style shoot for a new website I’m launching. Becca made the entire experience — from scheduling, to asking questions and understanding my vision, to directing the shoot day, to getting the final images — as painless and fun as possible. She has an extremely sweet and calming presence and took the ideas and vision I had to the next level. She instantly put me at ease in front of the camera and was great at giving specific verbal direction, which was so helpful in ensuring less awkwardness :)
During the shoot day, Becca had an amazing ability to keep us focused and on track but also made things really fun, easy and natural… the smiles in the photos were real, which is so helpful! She directed some incredible shots and really knows her stuff.

Becca was our wedding photographer in September 2012. We also did an «engagement session» with her. We were quite thrilled! We have SO many amazing shots of the two of us — who knew? Becca is very creative and understands that you aren’t used to generally posing in ways that seem silly, but end up looking amazing and natural. She had great suggestions for outside places for us to shoot around Portland, and some in our home too. Our wedding photos are absolutely outstanding! Just beautiful with brilliant color and a touch of artistic flair to remind you that these aren’ the wedding photos of the 1990’s! Becca was also very open to any ideas we had to offer and encouraged us to meet wtih her a couple of times before the wedding to ensure that she had a list of certain photos that we wanted. We have so many great photos now, it is hard to choose what to frame! I would recommend Becca to any bride and groom for their special day. We have a plethora of beautiful, lasting memories. This is long, so sorry, bare with me.
Becca is a phenomenal photographer, and I don’t say that lightly. I come from a family of artists and know quality work when I see it.
Aside from an outstanding collection of samples she can offer, Becca is a very warm person who knows who knows how to have fun with a shoot and makes you feel very comfortable in front of the camera, (even if you’re not a fashion model.)
Her professionalism is magnifique, and yet on that same note, she’s humble in her own right.
I especially appreciated the ease in which she handled my (extremely) rambunctious wedding party. When I told her ‘Don’t be afraid to yell over them, they’re loud,’ she proved to me she was more than capable.
After receiving both our engagement photos as well as our wedding photos, my husband, family, and I were amazed with the results.
I really could go on, but just know that if you choose Becca as your photographer, you most definitely will NOT be disappointed. She will ensure your most special moments are captured in just the right way to last you a lifetime.
