Birds Chimney Service

Just had them install a wood stove insert. Great advice on which model to choose, got it from a wholesale shop for a discounted price, installed it earlier than quoted. Came to evaluate my fireplace the same day I called. Professional workers. Answered my phone calls every time I had a question. Nothing but good things to say about these guys!

If I could rate them a Negative, I would!
I recently got a new roof put on my home. The roofers informed me the flashing on my chimney was installed incorrectly, and that I would need it all replaced.
Therefore when the current «Buy Local Only» magazine came out, I found Birds Chimney Service and called them for a rough quote over the phone and for them to come out and give me quote.
The man (I would call him a gentleman, but he was far from it) who answered the phone asked me a few questions, that sadly I couldn’t answer very well… because I’m a lady who doesn’t go on the roof of my 2 story home.
He then became condescending and rude for not being able to answer the questions that he though were simple (maybe for a chimney guy).
At the end of the conversation he asked for my location, and I told him that wouldn’t be necessary, because I wouldn’t have his company come out due to his unprofessional behavior and condescending attitude. He went on to protest and eventually hung up on me.
In Conclusion: Do yourself a favor and DO NOT call or hire this company. There are so many other Local Companies that want to do good things in their community… good luck! :)
